She not-so-subtly trashed Trump, referencing impeachment and obstruction. However, it was her husband who was impeached, making her words very ironic.
You will be happy to know she’s been happy since she lost the presidency as she takes long walks in the woods, organizes her closets and drinks Chardonnay.
Clinton talked of her youthful anti-government college days and segued to Richard Nixon, talking of impeachment and obstruction. [Uh, Nixon wasn’t impeached Hillary]
She let the audience think she was talking about Donald Trump at first.
“We questioned if women, people of color and immigrants would ever be treated with respect. We were also furious about the past presidential election, of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace because of impeachment and obstruction.”
She then let the crowd of leftist grads know she was talking about Nixon, churning up her politics of division.
“Here’s what I want you to know: we got through that tumultuous time. We revved up the engine of imagination and innovation. We turned back a tide of intolerance and embraced inclusion. The we who did those things were more than those in power who wanted to change course. It was millions of ordinary citizens, especially young people, who voted, marched and organized.”
