The crime by a so-called DREAMer in a Washington state sanctuary city was horrific. The teen girl suffered a broken orbital bone, a broken jaw, her ear was dangling off, her lip was damaged, she had head injuries, she lost teeth, her nose was broken, she couldn’t talk and she was raped.
Salvador Diaz-Garcia, 23 years of age, is charged with second-degree assault, second-degree rape and third-degree child molestation for perverted acts that occurred on June 25 at a kid’s pool.
The woman’s mother called police about 10 p.m. that night, reporting that her daughter came home with a bloody head, missing teeth and wearing only a tank top.
A deputy from the King County Sheriff’s Office responded and found the woman had “obvious extensive injuries” to her head. Her right ear was “torn and dangling,” her front teeth were missing or damaged, her upper lip torn and her head covered in cuts, according to the incident report. She was unable to talk, appeared confused, and stumbled about the living room, using the wall to stand, her mother said.
The illegal immigrant, given Dreamer status for a second time in January, should have been screened. Why are they rubber stamped?
There is backlash.
The community wants a referendum passed that will remove the sanctuary status removed. Three council members want to keep the status. They say it’s the “moral” thing to do and allows victims of crimes to feel safe reporting them. The last claim is nonsense. For one thing, there’d be less crime if we deported these people and for another, the border patrol is not deporting people who report the crimes.
These great arbiters of our morality are pandering to the 24% of Hispanics in their city at the expense of their legal residents. They have no regard for the laws of the nation and are encouraging people to come into the country who also have no regard for the laws of our nation. They want to reward them for it.
