House Representative Hank Johnson Wants Limited Free Speech

Hank Johnson, Democratic Representative, is talking too much again. You might remember his comments regarding Guam and his fear it might capsize if 8,000 Marines were sent there.

One has to wonder what the Admiral was thinking as Rep. Johnson made these comments.

Now Mr. Johnson wants to amend the Constitution and limit free speech. I hope he starts with his own.

“We need a constitutional amendment that would allow the legislature to control the so-called free speech rights of corporations,” Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA) was quoted as saying by CNS News.

His complaint stems from his disagreement with SCOTUS over the Citizens United case which allowed corporations free speech since corporations are groups of people. He is paranoid about rich people. He said we are all confused.

Hank thinks that corporations are controlling all the messages we get and want to privatize our lives [sounds good to me].

He seems to not have noticed that 80% of the media is controlled by those who are left-leaning and that left-leaning groups of people such as unions are allowed free speech.
