Inexplicably Basking in Glory Over a Failed Libyan War, Hillary’s Looking to Her Next War

The incompetence of the Obama administration can be seen most clearly in Obama’s refusal to recognize or deal with the treason of our NATO ally, Turkey. Turkey fully, directly, and openly supports ISIS and any jihadist group that is willing to fight Assad. Obama has support for his actions from presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton who is looking to repeat her failures in Libya.

Sputnik News broke a story this week that an Iraqi volunteer force commander said a mobile phone found on the person of a deceased Daesh aka ISIS militant proves that Turkey’s intelligence agency is providing support for the group.

The cell phone was found with one of the killed ISIL leaders in the Northern parts of Salahuddin province on December 21st.

It contains messages from Turkish intelligence and contained security at the points used by militants traveling from Turkey to Iraq.

“The mobile phone also contains other important information which cannot be disclosed now, and it has been delivered to the specialized security groups for further scrutiny,” Iraqi commander Jabbar al-Ma’mouri said.

Turkey’s Prime Minister Erdogan is desperate to see Assad killed as is ISIS.

Former US Department of State senior adviser David Phillips said, “Turkey’s role has not been ambiguous — it has overtly supported the ISIL. It has provided logistical support, money, weapons, transport and healthcare to wounded warriors.”

Turkey’s role in the Syrian crisis cannot be refuted. As David Ignatius wrote in The Atlantic, Turkey, in failing to tighten its southern border, became a gateway for ISIS and Jabhat al-Nusra (Al-Qaeda In Syria). The conflict is prolonged by the support extremists enjoy from neighboring countries. It would be prudent to peg the blame for this support on Turkey’s poor border control.

Turkey’s assistance to the Islamic State goes beyond providing open borders for ISIS militants. Recently, Turkey was accused of being one of the main sources of financial backing for the Islamic State, as well as of providing the majority of the group’s training and weaponry, the Huffington Post reported.

Jihadists from all over the world now enter Turkey to fight in the Syrian conflict. Turkey’s doors are open to any militant who pledges to fight against the Assad regime.

The Turkish government gave firearms to rebels, allowed them a route into Syria and let them traffic oil in through the Syrian border.

Turkey can’t have peace until there is peace in Syria and Erdogan is willing to sleep with the devil to stop Assad.

The Nato countries are: Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States.

Isn’t it time to kick Turkey out of NATO? How can we have an ally who supports the worst terrorists on the planet?

A Kurd leader recently said there will be a Kurdistan in the next century. Erdogan called it treason and said it will be punished. The Kurds want to be our allies. Maybe it’s time to switch sides and keep Turkey on the defensive.

Then there is Hillary who wants to be our next president.

Hillary Rodham Clinton

The misguided or perhaps witless Hillary Clinton wrote about Turkey in her memoir, Hard Choices, “The Turkish military, which saw itself as the guarantor of [Mustafa Kemal] Atatürk’s vision, intervened a number of times over the years to topple governments it saw as too Islamist, too left-wing, or too weak. Maybe that was good for the Cold War, but it delayed democratic progress.” She took credit in her book for the current relationship with the traitorous ally, Recep Erdogan.

Clinton wants to overthrow Assad while radical jihadists are waiting to take his place. She learned nothing from her disastrous misadventure in Libya. Even if she is right, do we trust her to be in charge of another war after Libya?

Clinton said we won’t have the support on the ground if we don’t hold the overthrow of Assad as the goal. Clinton and Obama believe there are moderates fighting Assad on the ground in Syria but the Joint Chiefs and the DIA don’t have the intelligence to back that up.

Overturning Assad would engage us in war with Russia who are in Syria at Syria’s invitation.

Investigative reporter Seymour Hirsch told Amy Goodman of Democracy Now that the Hillary-Obama war in Libya was a disaster.

“…I think what happened in Libya should have instructed anybody in the government, including the president, that when you depose a dictator, you have to be aware of what’s going to come next, and you have to think long and hard about what you’re doing. And I think, by any standard, the getting rid of Gaddafi has proven to be a horrible event. It’s increased the spread of the Islamic State in Africa, North Africa, increased their access to weapons and to money, etc. And it’s been a terrible—it was a terrible decision.”

“And we don’t—we seem not to have learned enough from it, because—you know, if I’m Putin, and I’m worried sick about—and forget about what happened in Ukraine. It’s terrible. I’m not defending Putin. I’m just saying, from his point of view about international terrorism, he’s seen the United States attack one secular leader, Gaddafi, destroy another secular leader, Saddam Hussein—no question that he was—he was not interested in the spread of international terrorism. Bashar, the same way, was always a secular state. There was a tremendous amount of freedom for all sorts of minorities and sects, and people don’t appreciate—all the minorities can only look to him for safety. They certainly can’t look to the international Islamic State for any sort of solace, in case they win out and take over the country. And so, if I’m Russia, I’m watching the destruction of three Syrian—or attempted destruction in Syria of three secular states and wondering what the hell is America up to.”

“They join with us in the worry about international terrorism. And I can’t tell you how many people I know inside the military and the intelligence community, as loyal to America as you want to be, think our first move after 9/11 probably should have been to Moscow and to say, “What can you tell us about terrorism?”

Hirsch was asked about Turkey and he called it a national disgrace.

“…the head of Turkey, Erdogan, yes, in France, and [Obama] came out and said, “I’m with him all the way,” etc., etc., etc., [after Turkey downed a Russian plane] when in fact all of the intelligence for a long time has been that he has, particularly in Hatay province, which is a contested province Syria controls, those—the border has been open for the Islamic groups, and he has not only been funneling—he’s been funneling arms and money to the most extreme groups for years. We know about it. There’s been a lot of intelligence reporting on it. His planes, once he began to join—allegedly join—with us in flying out combat missions, one of the first targets was, of course, the opposition Kurds, who are the best fighters inside Syria against the Islamic State, but he also bombed some of the Syrian army’s own specific units—exactly the contrary, opposite of what was what he said to do and what was being reported in the press. He wasn’t helping us.”

Clinton will continue Obama’s failed policy with Turkey which she takes credit for and she might well turn Syria into another Libya, only this time Russia will be involved.

Former Democratic presidential candidate and Secretary of the Navy and decorated war hero, Jim Webb ripped Hillary for her leadership in Libya which he called “inept” and a “failure as Secretary of State.”

“Hillary Clinton should be called to account for her inept leadership that brought about the chaos in Libya, and the power vacuums that resulted in the rest of the region,” Webb wrote Saturday on Facebook.

He dismissed Clinton’s claim that removing Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi was necessary to avoid a catastrophe like Syria, referring to it as “nonsensical.”

“She’ll need better answers than the recent nonsensical comment that she advocated taking out Muammar Qadaffi in Libya in order to avert a situation like Syria,” he said. “The predictable chaos in Libya was bad enough, but it also helped bring about the disaster in Syria. Who is taking her to task for this?”

“Radical Islamist groups, suppressed under Qaddafi, emerged as the fiercest rebels during the war, highlighted by the September 2012 attack on U.S. facilities in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three of his colleagues.”

“Clinton talked at this last DNC debate about her failure as Secretary of State as if she was successful,” Webb wrote in the post. “While she held that office, the U.S. spent about $2 billion backing the Libyan uprising against Qadaffi. The uprising, which was part of the Arab Spring, led directly to Qaddafi being removed from power and killed by rebel forces in 2011. Now some 2,000 ISIS terrorists have established a foothold in Libya.”

“For a Secretary of State (and a Presidential administration) this is foreign policy leadership at its worst,” he stated.

Things are so bad that Seymour Hirsch claims the Pentagon went behind Obama’s back and supplied information to Assad to subvert the disastrous Obama-Hillary supported ISIS attack plan. If true, it’s a bombshell. Hirsch only has an anonymous source, however.

The reason Hirsch says is because they discovered Turkey was aiding ISIS and there were no moderate rebels – the resistance are all terrorists.

  1. “Who in their right mind will vote for this woman?”

of course the answer to the rhetorical you posit would be “no one”, were it not for decades of social conditioning courtesy of the msm. just witness the ease with which the bush administration leveraged 9-11 into the full-scale invasion of not one but two sovereign nations just to capture a handful of terrorists and non-existent wmd. all at the expense of our privacy rights and sadly, much blood and treasure on both sides.

on a brighter note i enjoyed reading your article as much as if it were one of my own,
keep on it sara; there ‘are’ folks who are listening, and they talk to others…b
