New York Senator Chuck Schumer has been acting the part of the Progressive minion. He is a petty tyrant who pettifogs every issue.
The reason for fighting Neil Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court put forth by Schumer is that Gorsuch promises to be an impartial justice who will follow the Constitution and not rule based on his personal feelings.
Schumer’s trying to paint Neil Gorsuch as a heartless corporate stooge and many of the Democrat senators are doing the same. They couldn’t find anything against the squeaky clean judge.
Schumer has been retweeting nonsense from New York City socialists claiming Gorsuch is basically heartless.

“Judge Gorsuch’s decisions had negative real-life implications for working Americans,” Schumer tweeted. “When the chips are down, far too often he sides with the powerful few over everyday Americans just trying to get a fair shake.”
The New York hack wants the law to be applied according to what feels good to a social justice warrior.
The rule of law and the Constitution are not meant to be manipulated by feelings. Judges are not psychologists or social workers. Their job is to follow the law.

Schumer has been struggling to hurt Judge Gorsuch — with nothing sticking — but he’s come up with a new tack — no judge can be appointed until the FBI investigation of Russian interference in the election is complete. He tweeted , “It is unseemly to be moving forward on #SCOTUS nominee with cloud of FBI investigation hanging over @POTUS”.
“Before I move on to another topic, I’d like to point out that it is the height of irony that the Republicans held this Supreme Court seat open for nearly a calendar year while President Obama was in office, but are now rushing to fill the seat for a President whose campaign is under investigation by the FBI.”
That was in accordance with the Biden Rule that the Democrats invented. In a President’s last year, candidates do not get appointed.
“Even Rep. Nunes, the Republican Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said the investigation, confirmed yesterday by the FBI Director Comey, puts a big grey cloud over this administration.”
“You can bet if the shoe were on the other foot, and the Democratic president were under investigation by the FBI, the Republicans would be howling at the moon about filling the Supreme Court seat in such circumstances. After all, they stopped the president who wasn’t under investigation from filling the seat with nearly a year left in his presidency. It is unseemly to be moving forward so on confirming a Supreme Court justice with a lifetime appointment while this big, great grey cloud of an FBI investigation hangs over the presidency.”
When Schumer isn’t demanding Gorsuch rule empathetically, he’s pulling rabbits out of hats.
