Is This a Hoax? Hillary’s Worried About “Secret Money” Fueling Campaigns

NH Arena

This is rich. Hillary Clinton, speaking at the NH convention before a half-filled arena, said she will work on a constitutional amendment to get rid of Citizens United and the “secret, unaccountable” money being used in campaigns (It would make it much easier for websites like Attack Watch to destroy Republican donors as they did in 2012).

This is the woman who, as Secretary of State arranged favors for countless foreign entities, including nations that abuse human rights and the rights of women, who then made large donations to the Clinton Global Initiative or hired Bill to give speeches for half-a-million dollars or more.

We are talking billions of dollars of “secret” money that she did not disclose and the Foundation or Bill accepted in violation of an agreement with Barack Obama to avoid any question of a conflict of interest between her position as Secretary of State and her foundation.

She’s back to sounding nasty. She also forgot to mention the money coming from unions to buy elections and the fact that Democrats also use Citizens United.

Her questionable activities began before she became Secretary of State. She granted favors to donors during her senate career. Her shady deal over Uranium and Russia is particularly noteworthy.

If Hillary Clinton were any other public figure, she’d face indictment for her role in a foundation that was accepting multimillion dollar contributions from foreign governments, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said in April on ABC’s “This Week”.

“If this was any person but Hillary Clinton they’d be under indictment right now for a clearly straightforward problem.” Gingrich said during a panel discussion.. “This isn’t a political problem; this is a historic problem. The Constitution of the United States says you cannot take money from foreign governments without explicit permission of the Congress.”

“It is clear and federal law,” he continued.

“It’s illegal and its dangerous to America to have foreign governments get in the habit of bribing people who happen to be the husband of the Secretary of State or the next president of the United States.”

Under the Constitution’s “Emoluments Clause, persons holding public office are not to accept money from other countries without permission from Congress.

Gingrich said the founding fathers added that clause “because they knew the danger of corrupting our system by foreign money is enormous.”

Politicians have gone to jail for much less such as Bob McDonnell of Virginia and there are those who have been indicted for much less such as Senator Menendez.

The Clinton Foundation has become a money laundering scheme and a political slush fund.
