President Obama missed the march in France today but he is making up for it by holding a summit on evil February 18th.
No, I’m not kidding, I’m serious.
The White House is going to hold a global security summit on evil in the world – not on radical Islam – on the generic evil. Our allies will be invited but who knows who they are these days. The event is actually a rescheduling of a previously planned event.
Who is the U.S. going to discuss when the administration won’t even admit what is and who are the problems? They are going to have a meeting on evil without mentioning radical Islam or the radicalized version of religion motivating the perpetrators as we know.
Europeans, who don’t share our values, want to politicize the event and discuss limiting hate speech on the Internet. Whenever they talk about that issue, they end up talking in extreme terms befitting a bunch of socialists and communists.
They want to eliminate calls for violence or hatred. Who gets to define that and will it include anyone who speaks against radical Islamists?
The EU locks people up for violating their thought crimes. They don’t have free speech really.
- In Denmark, politicians were locked up for talking about the Islamization of Europe and the subjugation of Muslim women.
- In France, even private conversations are subject to free speech abuses. Brigitte Bardot was convicted on charges of inciting racial hatred for her criticism concerning the ritual slaughter of sheep during a Muslim feast.
- In The Netherlands, Geert Wilders was indicted for a film documenting inflammatory passages in the Qur’an.
- In the UK, an atheist who placed drawings satirizing Christianity and Islam in an airport prayer room was convicted. Christian hoteliers were hauled into court for calling Mohammed a “warlord.”
The EU doesn’t have a database of cross-country travel because of their pie-in-the-sky ideals and they are planning to discuss that at the evil summit.
Will they cover right wing extremism at the summit? How about Ferguson? Will that be covered?
Why would any jihadist be afraid of these world leaders when some – especially the U.S. – won’t even call it what it is and hold ridiculous useless summits on evil?
Eric Holder was asked by CNN today if we had terror cells like this in the United States. He said, “One of the things that we’re doing is looking at the body of people in the United States, use legitimate means to monitor their activities, we don’t stereotype, but we are constantly looking at those people to make sure that we are doing all the things that we can to keep the American people safe.”
Could he be any more obtuse?
It is not stereotyping to talk about radical Islam. It is not a denunciation of all Muslims though CAIR and other radical Islamic organizations would have you believe it is.
Jihadists know it and they are laughing at us.
