Hamas is riding around with children in ambulances, missiles are stored in UN schools in Gaza (which were apparently given back), and they put their women and children next to missile launchers so they can garner sympathetic coverage from the deaf-dumb-blind Western press. Former traitors like our Secretary of State John Kerry willingly succumb to this PR of human shields propagated by Hamas.
In a front page article on the NY Times today, the headline reads, ‘Kerry Expresses Exasperation With Civilian Toll in Gaza’.
He is making these comments while anti-Semitism is on the rise thanks to an ever-expanding Islamic presence in countries like France, Germany and the U.S.
In the article, we find out that he strongly criticized Hamas for not agreeing to the ceasefire, but in comments captured by live microphone on Fox News Sunday (as if he didn’t want them captured, saying them on Fox and all), he ‘expressed exasperation with the high cost in civilian lives as Israel pressed its ground attack on Gaza’. He reaffirmed that Israel can defend itself but that seems more like lip service since all he wants them to do is close down the tunnels.
Kerry was heard saying to an aide on the live mic: ‘It’s a hell of a pinpoint operation. It’s a hell of a pinpoint operation. We’ve got to get over there. Thank you, John. I think, John, we ought to go tonight. I think it’s crazy to be sitting around.’
He meant ‘pinpoint operation’ sarcastically because Palestinian civilians, including children, are dying. He seems unaware of the fact that they are human shields for Hamas who were voted into office by the innocent civilians.
The U.S. State Department’s Jen Psaki spoke to his comment: “Regardless, his private comments were consistent with his publicly stated view on all five shows: Israel has the right to defend itself, including against recent tunnel attacks, but he has encouraged them to not only take steps to prevent civilian casualties but to take steps to de-escalate, and we’re working together to achieve a cease-fire,” she added.
Israel, in other words, is allowed to destroy the tunnels, but that’s it.
In a phone call on Thursday with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel, Mr. Kerry urged that the Israeli ground intervention “be a precise operation to target tunnels, as described in a statement from the Israeli Defense Forces,” the State Department said in a statement.
Precise means tunnels only.
Israel is supposed to continue living with bombs being lobbed in every day. That would be like Pennsylvania bombing New Jersey every day and Chris Christie settling for closing down the Thruway.
Kerry offered to mediate five times and was rejected by Netanyahu each time. Could it be because Kerry is not a supporter as he claims to be?
Kerry said Obama wants him to go over to Israel and negotiate a peace soon. More like bully Netanyahu.
How will Kerry ever win that Nobel Peace Prize?
Mr. Obama won it because the commie Norweigans knew he would improve the “tranquility of the global community” as Josh Earnest likes to phrase it.
Peace and tranquility come at a high price with this administration.
