Some Republicans are joining forces with Democrats to bring back DREAMer provisions. Though they are not saying it yet, they have supported amnesty for their families (DAPA, Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents) in the past. That would be the next step.
Why have immigration laws at all if we have more exceptions than rules?
This is a betrayal of what they say they stand for. It’s further proof some Republicans have no intention of implementing the President’s agenda. President Trump was opposed to giving amnesty during the campaign.
Sen. Lindsey Graham joined with leftist Sen. Dick Durbin to develop a duplicate version of the Obama-era DREAM Act.
Hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who came as children are being protected from deportation under the temporary Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program created by the former president. It was a temporary program and it’s currently running out.
If these politicians want this, will a promise to never do it again mean anything? Will they trade something for it? How about giving up anchor babies in exchange?
These two talk about the successful young people who came here illegally but never mention the gang kids and welfare youth we have been forced to keep.
RINO Graham told voters on Thursday that if they do not support amnesty for these youth (up to age 35) who are here illegally, he does not want their vote. Graham isn’t up for re-eleection until 2020.
“To the people who object to this, I don’t want you to vote for me because I cannot serve you well. I just don’t see the upside of telling these kids they have to go back and live in the shadows or send them back to a country they have no idea about the country. If you send them back to their native country, some of them have never been there as anything other than a baby,” he said.
He sure didn’t get votes during the Primary. He remained under 1%.
For some inexplicable reason, he thinks it’s a national security matter.
In fact, he wants to incrementally grant amnesty to all of the 11 million to 30 million in this country.
Graham said, “I have come to believe that comprehensive immigration reform, whether done in piecemeal fashion or done comprehensively, is absolutely essential for our national security. It’s absolutely essential for our economic viability and I want to stop the third wave [of illegal immigration] and never do this again. We have got to have a practical solution to the 11 million,” Graham said at a press conference today alongside Sen. Dick Durbin (D-Ill.), reported PJ Media.
In no way does amnesty stop the issue of illegal immigration, it increases it. His comments are dishonest.
More than half of illegal aliens are on welfare and are not contributing more than citizens. There is no reason to give amnesty to people who come here for welfare.
He will be “with these kids” when they write the history, he said. One thing they will definitely record in history is that he didn’t stand with citizens. There is no way Graham wants “immigration reform”, he wants “amnesty”.
Graham is supportive of securing the borders (without a wall) but once people get here illegally, he has their backs.
Listen to this guy, he is a clown. He’s also no Republican.
