A breaking report by Sarah Carter at Circa News exposes possible obstruction of justice by former attorney general Loretta Lynch during an encounter with former FBI director Jim Comey.

Last week, according to senior lawmakers, James Comey told legislators in closed session that he confronted Loretta Lynch with evidence in a sensitive document about political interference in the Hillary Clinton email investigation. He was met with steely silence and then told to leave the room, Circa News reported.

This took place last year.

During his testimony, also last week, Comey talked of having a “queasy” feeling after Loretta Lynch told him to refer to the Clinton investigation as a “matter”, the language of the Clinton campaign.

However, there was a second and potentially far worse encounter later on with Lynch shortly before the email probe was shut down.

Comey told lawmakers he addressed his concerns about Lynch’s tarmac meeting with Bill Clinton. He confronted Lynch with a highly sensitive piece of evidence, a communication between two political figures that suggested Lynch had agreed to put the kibosh on any prosecution of Clinton.

Comey said, “the attorney general looked at the document then looked up with a steely silence that lasted for some time, then asked him if he had any other business with her and if not that he should leave her office,” said one source who was briefed.

That interaction led him to his decision to say he’s not able to prove intent in Mrs. Clinton’s case. Another source said the “tarmac meeting was the public excuse for not going to Lynch when all along there was other evidence that was more concerning to Comey.”

On July 5, 2016, Comey went through a litany of offenses by Mrs. Clinton and then said he couldn’t prove intent. The investigation was over.

Sources also said that Comey’s testimony in private conflicted with reports out of the news media that the FBI intercepted an email between Congresswoman DebbieWasserman Schultz, who at the time was the Democratic Party chairwoman, and a third party. The media said it was ruse by the Russians and WaPo claimed it motivated Comey to shut down the Clinton case.

Comey and the source both debunked the story without being specific.

The judiciary committee is asking for Loretta Lynch to testify.

There are so many swamp critters so little time.
