McCain Refuses to Explain Where $9 Million Came From to Fund His “Legacy” Institute

Before we go into Senator McCain’s current treachery, let’s preface it with his past heroism. McCain was a hero nearly fifty years ago. It’s not true that then-President Nixon had to pardon him. It is true that he said during a ’60 Minutes’ interview years ago that he was upset he signed a confession after being tortured. It is also true that he wouldn’t leave the Hanoi Hilton when he had the chance because the other men weren’t able to leave. He was courageous and honorable.

That being said, it was nearly fifty years ago and Benedict Arnold was a hero once too.

I’m sorry he’s dying but I wish he would retire and spend his waning days with his loved ones.

We believe he is corrupt

Why is his foundation taking money from the corrupt Socialist George Soros? People like to call Soros a liberal but anyone who has studied Soros knows what he is and it’s not liberal.

Why won’t McCain explain where the $9 million came from to fund his legacy foundation? He will not answer the question.

The Daily Caller investigated and found that the McCain Institute for International Leadership received a very generous donation from the very evil George Soros.

The institute is McCain’s legacy by which he will be remembered. It “is dedicated to advancing human rights, dignity, democracy and freedom”. It is also a tax-exempt non-profit foundation with assets valued at $8.1 million and associated with Arizona State University.

John McCain turned over nearly $9 million in unspent funds from his failed 2008 presidential campaign to the McCain Institute for International Leadership.

He will NOT RELEASE A LIST OF DONORS and how much they’ve given. Why not? How much did Soros give?

The Daily Caller News Foundation’s investigative team found a number of very troubling aspects to this, in addition to McCain being highly secretive.

  • The McCain foundation is beginning to look like the Clinton foundation.
  • Contributions have been as high as $100,000 from Soros and Teneo, the Doug Band company. Band is Bill Clinton’s bag man.
  • The Saudi human rights abusers gave $1 million to the institute.
  • Another $100,00 came from Moroccan state company that abuses workers.

Keep in mind that originally, McCain disavowed any connection to this institute which is frankly, not true.

The core problem is these people are all globalists. It’s the neo-communism.

Charles Ortel, a retired Wall Street investment banker and philanthropy law expert, told the Daily Caller that “high government officials such as John McCain, former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and former president Barack Obama should not get involved with vehicles like these where substantial sums can be funneled over time in ways that at best, reeks of impropriety and at worse are public corruption.”

Ortel is absolutely correct.

There is also evidence that small donations by Soros were made to John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Carlos Curbelo, Marco Rubio, John Kasich, and Paul Ryan. That doesn’t mean they are marching to his tune when they go against Trump’s agenda, but it needs to be watched. They should accept nothing.
