Republicans are “wasting their time” using ObamaCare as an electoral issue, House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (Calif.) said Thursday.
Of course they are! ObamaCare is great! The website is great! It’s all good.
Yes, OCare has been rewritten more than 35 times. Perhaps the website is lacking. Yes, people are losing their businesses and their wealth. Sure, it causes income inequality and the loss of jobs. Of course millions will lose their insurance and most Americans will have no choices over the policy they choose; well, actually, I should say, they will have four choices – Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze – all unaffordable for most.
Finally, Medicaid, which was unaffordable before ObamaCare, is growing in leaps and bounds with not enough people left to pay for it. We are putting millions more on it, even people who want to pay for their insurance and want no part of it.
But don’t let facts get in the way of ideology! Don’t do it! OCare is great and merely needs a few fixes which Mr. Obama has decided he can do on his own as he writes legislation from the White House.
To be completely honest, Mr. Obama isn’t rewriting anything. He doesn’t use his pen at all. He assigns his far-left cronies to rewrite the legislation. Podesta of The Center for American Progress is a key figure rewriting our laws today and he comes from a far-left think tank (using the word ‘think’ loosely here) funded by George Soros.
Nancy Pelosi said this today at a press briefing: “The fact that it is an off-year election — in other words, a non-presidential year — and a special election is like a double-whammy in terms of reducing turnout.”
“We feel confident about the fuller participation in November, and what that will mean for that election.”
“I think the Republicans are wasting their time using that as their electoral issue, and they will find that out,” Pelosi said.
ObamaCare is a disaster. The law has been rewritten almost 40 times, with 19 of those done unilaterally by the president.
Mr. Obama’s cronies rewrote the OCare law again this week. He will grant a two-year extension on the individual mandate’s hardship exemption. The hardship exemption can be claimed by anyone for seemingly any reason. It’s on the honor system no less.
Any system based on an honor system is unprofessional at best and desperately incompetent at worst.
As Rep. Trey Gowdy said recently, Nancy Pelosi is “Mind-Numbingly Stupid”. He said it better than I ever could.
Keep up the good work Nancy! Republicans need you out there helping.
