Modern Day McCarthyism! James Woods ‘Blacklisted’ by Hollywood

Joe McCarthy of the 1940s and 1950s blacklisted people he thought were communists and now the communists and other assorted leftists are blacklisting anyone who disagrees with them. American leftists malign and even violently silence people who don’t agree with them. They don’t stop there, they go after their jobs and try to destroy them. Instead of calm debate, we have McCarthyism.

We are polluting America.

Veteran actor James Woods has taken on the authoritarian left and their political correctness but he’s paid a price.

In 2013, he said he didn’t expect to work in Hollywood again and he tweeted it again this past week. Not supporting Barack Obama and the leftist ideals is not permitted. It costs people their livelihoods, especially in Hollywood.

Woods tweeted on August 21: “The only reason I express my views is that I have accepted the fact that I’m blacklisted. Also I bought Apple stock in the 80’s…”

Regardless of personal wealth, it takes courage to do what he has done, knowing his fate. It’s truly unAmerican that he is not being offered roles because he is now a conservative.

He was a Democrat until the Clintons came into office. [They were so corrupt. That’s when I left the Democrat Party]

He said that Republicans in Hollywood have to live in fear of losing their livelihood. It’s not only Hollywood of course. The left are very authoritarian and controlling.

It’s aimed at Donald Trump, but it’s ultimately aimed at all Republicans.

    • WikiPedia: “The first systematic Hollywood blacklist was instituted on November 25, 1947, the day after ten writers and directors were cited for contempt of Congress for refusing to testify to the House Un-American Activities Committee. A group of studio executives, acting under the aegis of the Association of Motion Picture Producers, fired the artists—the so-called Hollywood Ten—and made what has become known as the Waldorf Statement.” Note HOUSE COMMITTEE, not Senate.

  1. McCarthy is still given the credit as That was the beginning of the end.

I wrote of this before that the House had a great many Committees over the years that began in the early 1900’s that were to fight against the “Red Scare”. They were never as altruistic as some would suggest.
