The government has given up the fight to limit the age at which little girls can buy a morning after pill in their local drugstore without parental permission or a prescription. They can make the purchase at any age.

The US Justice Department, under Eric Holder, said in a letter on Monday that it planned to comply with a court’s ruling to allow unrestricted sales of Plan B One-Step and that it would withdraw its appeal on the matter.

This movement has been pushed by Planned Parenthood despite the fact that there is no scientific proof that lowering a young girl’s hormones won’t have future implications. Planned Parenthood feels it puts an undo burden on the poor who should have easy access to the abortion drug.

Men who want to abuse little girls, now have more access. Pedophiles have won one battle.

Removing parents from the decision and putting it in the hands of a pre-teen child is reckless.

Younger and younger children will feel freer to become sexually active.

Way to go DOJ.
