N Korean rocket debris
Fox News is reporting that a study of debris from North Korea’s recently launched long range missile reveals that they have the ability to reach the US mainland. South Korean scientists studying the debris believe they can fire the missile.
While we ignore Iran’s efforts to develop a nuclear weapon, we must keep in mind that they have a close relationship with the North Korean government. They exchange scientific information and materials to build weaponry.
We must also keep in mind that President Obama has done nothing about building missile defense shields on a par with those built in Israel. Their shield, the Iron Dome, enabled Israel to fend off 80% of the rocket attacks from Gaza over the last three years. Instead of sequestration, let’s strengthen our self-defense.
