New York City appears to have a veto-proof majority for a bill that will allow non-citizen residents to vote in local elections.

We not only have open borders but we are going to let non-citizens with residency vote in our elections. Mayor Bloomberg is opposed.

The non-citizens have to meet the state requirements ( they cannot be ruled insane and they cannot be in jail).  They only have to be residents for 6 months.

Smaller municipalities in Maryland and Massachusetts allow non-citizen voting.

It has repercussions for other large liberal cities who will now follow suit.
