This just released: United States servicemen and women being deployed in Iraq have been issued magic carpets upon their arrivals. It’s suspected the Iraqi government’s issuance of these ancient, unique, modes of transportation to our troops is an effort to make genuine President Obama and his Democrat Party’s promise “There will be no American boots on the ground…” in their country.
If this seems ridiculous we might ask ourselves, “Compared to what?” Certainly not compared to Obama’s promise that he’s sending over 1,000 troops not to fight in a country filled with bloody, armed conflict. Most assuredly not compared to the testimony heard from the chairman of our Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army Gen. Martin Dempsey.
Discussing the possible failure of Obama’s unrealistic, multi-coalition strategy Dempsey said, “….if there are threats to the United States, then I of course would go back to the president and make a recommendation that may include the use of US military ground forces.” “To be clear, if we reach the point where I believe our advisers should accompany Iraqi troops on attacks against specific [ISIS] targets, I will recommend that to the president.”
As of this writing there has been no word from the Commander in Chief as to whether our soldiers would be brought into battle, boot-less, via those newly delivered magic carpets.
