US officials believe North Korea will have the ability to put nuclear warheads on missiles that can reach the west coast of the US by the end of the first term of the new president. They just launched a fifth nuclear missile test are planning to launch more as they declare their eagerness to set off a preemptive nuclear strike on the US.
If you want to know what we will face with Iran as soon as they finish developing their ICBMs and their nuclear weapons, you only need to look at North Korea, a nation of paranoid maniacs who are planning a first strike at the United States.
In October 1994, in a deal signed with the U.S., North Korea agreed to shut down its main nuclear reactor. Then U.S. President Bill Clinton praised the agreement, saying, “This is a good deal for the United States… The entire world will be safer.”
The deal was very, very similar to the Iran deal – only better in that our hands weren’t tied to the same degree as they are with the Iran deal.
North Korea is ready to launch a fifth nuclear test. Their last one set off a 5.3 earthquake.
“The U.S. has nuclear weapons off our coast, targeting our country, our capital and our Dear Leader, Kim Jong Un,” a top North Korean official, Lee Yong Pil, said in an exclusive interview with NBC News.
“We will not step back as long as there’s a nuclear threat to us from the United States,” added Lee, who is director of the Foreign Ministry’s Institute for American Studies.
“A preemptive nuclear strike is not something the U.S. has a monopoly on,” he said. “If we see that the U.S. would do it to us, we would do it first. … We have the technology.”
North Korea has accelerated its nuclear program, carrying out its fourth and fifth tests this year. The International Atomic Energy Agency called the moves “deeply troubling” and “regrettable.”
Samantha Powers, our UN Ambassador, said on NBC News of the fighting words: ‘We need to ramp up the pressure. Because this isn’t just a threat to the United States or the Republic of Korea, this is a threat to mankind.’
The only problem is we don’t ever actually do anything. We might add some sanctions but Krazy Kim won’t care.
The administration still hasn’t figured out that the so-called deal with Iran is putting us in the same position with them as we are in with North Korea.
There are things the president could do if he wasn’t paralyzed by incompetence, fear and ideology. He could put pressure on China to stop North Korea but he remains fixated on doing nothing though for some reason he appears to want to go to war with Yemen now that it’s 75% occupied by Iran’s Houthis and the rest are al Qaeda.
Meetings with China did begin in mid-September but no one takes this president seriously because they know he will do nothing.
This comes at a time Russia is threatening nuclear war and building up their warheads while we destroy our stock.
If Hillary Clinton is president, we know she won’t listen to intelligence officials or the generals and we will end up with a mess like we see in Libya.
We will report on the latest insanity over Iran and Syria in our next article. Our Iran nuke deal means we are powerless to do anything about the massacre in Syria. To date, 450,000 have died, many are children and many are civilians. Right now, Russia is pounding our allies in East Aleppo into oblivion. The White House is pursuing diplomacy, begging for mercy, and no one is listening.
