The desperate New York State Democratic Party sent out bully letters to their constituents warning them that they will be monitored.
They plan to review voting records to see who didn’t vote. The punishment will be a letter in their file. Specifically, the party will want to know why they didn’t vote.
Newsday said it’s called “voter shaming”. It’s the first time it’s been used in New York. Hopefully the last.
Check out the letter and one voters reaction:
Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s campaign spokesman Peter Kauffmann wrote in an email, “This flyer is part of the nationwide Democratic response to traditional Republican voter suppression efforts — because Democrats believe our democracy works better when more people vote, not less,” said in an email.
NO, that’s not it Peter. You’re all desperate and want to bully the base into going to the polls no matter how uninspiring the candidates are.
