New York Senate Majority leader Dean Skelos and his son have been arrested on federal corruption charges. The charges against Dean Skelos involve a contract for AbTech, an Arizona-based environmental firm that won a $12-million storm-water contract with Nassau County in 2013. The firm, which did not submit the lowest bid, had employed Adam Skelos as a consultant.
The government has a witness from a real estate firm. I’m willing to bet the witness is a Democrat.
If he and his son are guilty, then they need to be held accountable, but what about the president’s ongoing corruption?

Solyndra, the California-based company that made solar panels was predicted to fail because of recurring losses, cash flow problems and a decreasing worldwide market, ye the White House pushed for infusions of cash from taxpayers to Solyndra. Obama’s campaign contributor George Kaiser owned an equity firm that backed Solyndra.
In 2008, Obama promised no more no-bid contracts. He said he would “end the abuse of no-bid contracts once and for all.”
He meant if they weren’t for his cronies.
Siga was given a $433 million dollar government contract to supply a smallpox anti-viral drug that may, or may not, be necessary in the case of a bioterrorist attack and for that matter, the drug may or may not work. The company’s controlling stockholder David “Perelman and others at Siga’s affiliate, MacAndrews & Forbes, have long been major political donors.
HealthCare.gov, the disastrous Obamacare website was designed and created by CGI Federal, which was awarded a $678 million no-bid, sole-source contract. The senior vice-president, Toni Townes-Whitley, is an old buddy of Michelle Obama and an Obama campaign contributor.
A cellphone company – TracFone – whose top executive has close ties to President Obama lobbied for and won a piece of a major new government push to provide Internet service to low-income job-seekers, even though critics say the company’s smartphones are poorly suited to the task of helping those in the program find work.

The White House has been manipulating key races across the country, including endorsing such candidates as Alexi Giannoulias—a mob-linked, scandal-tainted banker from Obama’s hometown of Chicago.
