President Obama spoke at a press conference in Stockholm, Sweden Wednesday in advance of the G-20 summit and blamed the world for the red line on Syria. He was running out of fall guys so now he’s blaming the entire world.
He said the red line he set last year against Syria’s use of chemical weapons was an international standard.
He said, ‘I didn’t set a red line, the world set a red line…My credibility is not on the line. The international community’s credibility is on the line. And America and Congress’s credibility’s on the line.’
He claimed it is not his credibility on the line as he lied about what he said regarding the red line. [McClatchy]
That should go over well with the world he is blaming especially since he’s lying.
In case you have forgotten, NBC News reported on August 20th:
“We have been very clear to the Assad regime, but also to other players on the ground, that a red line for us is we start seeing a whole bunch of chemical weapons moving around or being utilized,” the president said. “That would change my calculus. That would change my equation.”
Mr. Obama’s incoherent foreign policy and poor people skills just got a whole lot worse.
