Everything that Obama accuses Romney of being is what Obama is guilty of.
The AP reported that Obama said Mitt Romney has locked himself into “extreme positions” on economic and social issues and would surely impose them if elected.
Obama is the radical projecting onto Romney his own extremism and failures.
It is Obama who snorted and drank his way through school and surrounded himself with the radical professors and Marxists. It is Obama who made friends with radicals like Edward Said, Roberto Unger, Bill Ayers, Rev. Jeremiah Wright and others. It is Obama who talked about being his brother’s keeper but allows his own brother George to live in a hovel in Kenya.
Obama believes in partial birth and post birth abortion. Romney, on the other hand, believes in abortions in cases of rape, incest and for the health and safety of the mother. How is that radical, especially compared to Obama’s stance. In any case, it is not a decision a president will make.
Romney has said he believes marriage is between a man and a woman. He fully supports the rights of the LGBT community but prefers they have unions with all the privileges of a married couple. How is that radical? You can disagree but it’s not radical. Obama ignored DOMA, which is the law of the land. That’s radical.
In violation of the law and with the help of his drone in the senate, Harry Reid, Obama has not passed a budget in four years but he has mandated his own with trillion dollar plus deficits each year. Romney wants to curb the growth of spending, revamp the tax code, and save Medicare and Social Security. Obama took $716 billion from Medicare which leaves rationing the only option.
Obama recently passed a rule which will force the country into a single payer system – absolute socialism.
Obama has given us 6 trillion dollars in debt in four years.
His Obamacare is unsustainable and does not lower costs as he promised.
We are heading for the fiscal cliff but Obama has no plan to stop it other than more spending, borrowing and false claims that taxing the rich more will do more than run the government for a short period of time.
Obama has given us over 900 Executive Orders, many of which are meant to control us in the event of an emergency. We see ever-more government agencies arising and growing under Obama.
His czars have direct powers far exceeding any powers given to aides. The term he uses – czars – is meant to send a message.
He has filled his government with radicals, communists and socialists. He has passed rules, EO’s and directives to overrule the federal law, even allowing amnesty for over a million people only recently, in direct violation of decisions by Congresss. Romney wants an orderly plan established, one that follows the law of the land.
Obama helped create the Arab Spring which has given al-Qaeda a stronger foothold throughout the Middle East.
Obama has alienated the Catholic Church, Orthodox Jews and Evangelicals by mandating that they provide “free contraception, surgical sterilizations, and abortifacients” to all their employees despite the fact that it will violate their core religious beliefs. Obama has given exemptions to unions and other supporters but not to religious groups. Who is the radical here?
Unemployment is 8.3% for 44 consecutive months and it will not get better. His plan to raise revenue by eliminating the Bush tax cuts will most likely send us into recession according to most economists.
Obama has put more people on welfare and disability than any other president as he marches us FORWARD towards a welfare state from which we will never return. And Romney is the radical?
His onerous regulations have a stranglehold of our businesses. He does not believe any individual can build something himself because he is a collectivist and that is his vision for America.
He is making us less safe by destroying 80% of our nuclear weapons, putting us on a par with France and intends to do the same with all our armaments.
Obama has a plan for how he will govern in his second term, when he has “more flexibility” as he announced to Medvedev on an open mic.
“The Washington stalemate will [miraculously] break once the election is over.” He will “make compromises.” [If that were so, why has he made none of any import in four years?] He believes Republicans will come his way because they do not want to be perceived as “one of the least productive Congresses in American History.”
This governance he has planned is, of course, pie-in-the-sky with no substance.
During his inaugural speech, he said:
“America. In the face of our common dangers, in this winter of our hardship, let us remember these timeless words. With hope and virtue, let us brave once more the icy currents, and endure what storms may come. Let it be said by our children’s children that when we were tested, we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back, nor did we falter; and with eyes fixed on the horizon and God’s grace upon us, we carried forth that great gift of freedom and delivered it safely to future generations.”
Freedom is not saddling future generations with insurmountable debt, something I find egregious.
He also said, “We will harness the sun and the winds and the soil to fuel our cars and run our factories.” In actuality, he has supplied billions to crony corporatists who go quickly out of business and has forced GM to make a car nobody wants.
Another quote from the inaugural address: “And we will transform our schools and colleges and universities to meet the demands of a new age. All this we can do. And all this we will do.”
Tell that to the Detroit or Chicago school systems for starters. It has not happened.
Who is the radical again?
