Obama Gives Backdoor Amnesty to Illegal Salvadorians & Millions in Aid to El Salvador

We have no money and we have open borders. We are going bankrupt and we are not even a country – we need borders to call ourselves a country. Obama shows no sign of slowing down as he corrupts the nation of laws he keeps claiming to be following. He is a true Alinsky follower – what he says is the opposite of what he does.

Obama promised El Salvador $200 million in aid and gave backdoor amnesty to 215,000 illegal Salvadorians, no questions asked. They could be axe murderers and it wouldn’t matter.

The Washington Times reported recently that Obama promised $200 million in aid to El Salvador AND he promised to push through immigration reform for the Salvadorian citizens living in the U.S. – in other words, illegals. Two million El Salvadorians live in the United States and apparently many are here illegally.

Obama, who is ruling via Executive Orders and agency regulations, made the following disingenuous comment –

“America is a nation of laws, and it is a nation of immigrants. And so our job is to create secure borders, to make sure that we’ve got a legal immigration system that is effective and is not frustrating for families, doesn’t divide families,” he said, citing declining Republican support for a bill that would lay out a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. “My hope is that they begin to recognize over the next year that we can’t solve this problem without taking a broad, comprehensive approach.”

What makes this even more laughable is Obama just gave extended backdoor amnesty to hundreds of thousands of illegal Salvadorians using a ten year old earthquake as his lame excuse. Who knows how many of these are even criminals because there will be no scrutiny – none!

Politico:The Obama administration has extended temporary protected status to El Salvadoran nationals through late 2013, shielding them from deportation and forcible return to their home country.

The Department of Homeland Security cites ongoing disruptions from a series of earthquakes in 2001, concluding that “El Salvador remains unable, temporarily, to handle adequately the return of its nationals.”

The Obama administration’s deportation policies have come under scrutiny, just as the president has geared up for his reelection campaign. Despite his support for comprehensive immigration reform and a path to citizenship, deportations have soared to new highs under the Obama administration— and the president’s approval ratings among Latino voters have flatlined.

Hugo Martinez, El Salvador’s Foreign Minister, was in Washington this week to discuss the policy and meet with Homeland Security chief Janet Napolitano. The protected status designation currently applies to 215,000 Salvadorans living in the U.S. illegally and otherwise subject to deportation, and remittances from ex-patriate Salvadorans in the United States help keep that country’s economy afloat.

Obama likes to make deals without running anything by Congress. He likes to pretend he recognizes that the U.S. is a nation of laws. He’s a fraud. Why don’t Republican candidates talk about this instead of attacking each other???
