Barack Obama thinks the Pope’s visit should prompt Republicans to fund Planned Parenthood, a private and corrupt organization that has often boasted it doesn’t need tax dollars to continue its operation.
The Pope’s visit, according to Barack Obama, might make the GOP consider “those most vulnerable in our society”, which apparently, in Obama’s thinking, doesn’t include the unborn or just born who were supposed to be aborted.
He must have missed the numerous times the Pope said we must “respect life at every stage.” It obviously wasn’t a strong enough message for Barack Obama.
Pope Francis also said to stop the trafficking of human organs and “respect the sacredness of every human life.”
His words didn’t leave a lot to question:
“Our world demands of all government leaders a will which is effective, practical and constant, concrete steps and immediate measures for preserving and improving the natural environment and thus putting an end as quickly as possible to the phenomenon of social and economic exclusion, with its baneful consequences: human trafficking, the marketing of human organs and tissues, the sexual exploitation of boys and girls, slave labour, including prostitution, the drug and weapons trade, terrorism and international organized crime. Such is the magnitude of these situations and their toll in innocent lives, that we must avoid every temptation to fall into a declarationist nominalism which would assuage our consciences. We need to ensure that our institutions are truly effective in the struggle against all these scourges…..
He thinks the only ones who ever have to give in are Republicans. He won’t give on a thing unless it’s to our enemies. He does not negotiate. It’s ironic to hear him say the opposite.
The Pope said to respect the unborn and Obama heard, make everyone fund the savagery of Planned Parenthood.
This is what Barack said and, oh the irony:
“We’ll continue to have significant fights around issues like Planned Parenthood and significant fights around issues like immigration but perhaps the visit by the Holy Father to Congress may have changed hearts and minds.
“I know that Speaker Boehner was deeply moved by his encounter with Pope Francis. I want to congratulate him, by the way, on facilitating that historic visit. I know it meant a lot to John and his family. And I would just ask members to really reflect on what his holiness said, not in the particulars, but in the general problem that we should be open to each other, we should not demonize each other, we should not assume that we have a monopoly on the truth or on what’s right, that we listen to each other and show each other respect and that we show regard for the most vulnerable in our society…”
Carly Fiorina talked about the majority opinion on late-term abortion in an interview with Chuck Todd Sunday.
“The majority of women, the majority of young people, the majority of Americans now believe that abortion for any reason at all after five months is wrong. Just as they believe that the butchery of live fetuses for body parts is wrong. So I think we ought to pass the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act now. It is good politics. It is also good policy. And shame on Democrats who stood and blocked it because the majority of Americans now disagree with where Democrats are. The Democrat policy is it is not a life until it leaves the hospital. The vast majority of Americans oppose that policy.”
Most believe that one of John Boehner’s last acts will be to fund the Obama agenda throughout his term, funding would include Planned Parenthood. If so, his visit with the Pope didn’t really get through to him.
The butchery of Planned Parenthood is being funded by taxpayers and it is most definitely a political slush fund for the Democratic party. They have a crony relationship going that cannot be denied.
Carly described the fight over Planned Parenthood as being about the character of our nation.
If nothing else it would change the message the Democrats have been sending to the youth that killing the unborn at any stage of a pregnancy is not only OK, it’s to be applauded as somehow being a woman’s health issue while the baby has no rights.
If you don’t believe Planned Parenthood are butchers who are illicitly and unethically selling baby parts, some of whom appear to have been born alive, please view the videos yourself at The Center for Medical Progress. The left has spread a lot of lies about what the videos actually show.
Even if you think Planned Parenthood’s operation is okay, do you think it’s fair to make those who don’t agree pay for it? Does the right of conscience exist only for some? If so, it exists for no one.
Carly believes there is common ground on late-term abortion.
We now have the capability to determine pregnancy very early in the first trimester and, unless a mother’s life is at stake, why is it necessary to do this to a baby who can feel and, to some degree, think? We wouldn’t do it to the Grouse or the Mississippi Gopher Frog or a lion.
