Obama Tells Muslims They Built The Very Fabric of Our Nation

Barack Obama is dividing us again. He is flattering Muslims at the expense of everyone else.

Barack and Michelle Obama sent a message to Muslims in the United States and throughout the world in celebration of their holiday Eid-al-Fitr. That’s very nice, but in his statement on the White House blog, he said, “Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.”

He must have been talking about  the Father of our country George Mohammed Washington.

If anything, he should be reminding people of the contributions of Jews to America. Why don’t we hear about Haym Salomon who was a Polish-born Jewish American who played an important role in financing the American Revolution? From 1781 on, Salomon brokered bills of exchange for the American government and extended interest-free personal loans to members of Congress, including James Madison.

Jews served honorably in our military from colonial times. Let’s hear more about that.

There are famous American Jews who formed our culture like Bernard Baruch, Irving Berlin, Gertrude Elion, Commodore Uriah Levy, Jonas Salk, Levi Strauss, Ruth Handler (Barbie doll), Bob Dylan, Mel Brooks,

The United States was founded on Judeo-Christian principles and that is the core of our democracy. I guess Obama missed American History because of his years in Indonesia.

Barack Obama isn’t a typical American and his story is not that of Black Americans. He probably doesn’t relate to our American history.

The earliest Muslims were slaves whose owners abolished their religion because they didn’t want it carried down through the generations. Muslims began arriving in small numbers about a century after the Civil War and by 1965, there were only about 150,000 in the United States. After the 1965 legislation weighted immigration heavily in favor of their immigration, they began arriving in large numbers.

Muslims are new to America. We don’t know if they will embrace our way of life and to what degree they will.

They weren’t here to contribute to the “very fabric of our nation,” though there are many here now who are contributing in sports, politics, education, medicine, Hollywood, et cetera.

We are so PC now that we are re-inventing history. No disrespect, but they weren’t here to contribute.

His statement is dishonest at best but he might as well lie to them like he does to the rest of us. At least he’s flattering them.

Statement by the President on the Occasion of Eid-al-Fitr

As Muslims throughout the United States and around the world celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, Michelle and I extend our warmest wishes to them and their families. This last month has been a time of fasting, reflection, spiritual renewal, and service to the less fortunate. While Eid marks the completion of Ramadan, it also celebrates the common values that unite us in our humanity and reinforces the obligations that people of all faiths have to each other, especially those impacted by poverty, conflict, and disease.

In the United States, Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy. That is why we stand with people of all faiths, here at home and around the world, to protect and advance their rights to prosper, and we welcome their commitment to giving back to their communities.

On behalf of the Administration, we wish Muslims in the United States and around the world a blessed and joyous celebration. Eid Mubarak.

Barack doesn’t know much. He said we are a Muslim nation during an interview on French TV, listen:

It’s not surprising that he is lying about the history of Muslims in America. Barack Obama is supporting Islamic terrorist groups. He is sending them money and pressuring Israel constantly to surrender to Hamas.

I’m very tired of all this. Someone has to start telling the truth and taking a stand.
