Barack Obama is unilaterally and secretly negotiating with the terrorist state of Iran to the horror of our allies and to many in Congress,
“Sending this secret letter, this begging letter, to the Supreme leader or Iran was an act of ferocious stupidity and terrible treachery,” Lt. Col. Ralph Peters said last evening.
In secret correspondence to Iran’s Supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khameni, U.S. president Barack Obama said cooperation in the fight against ISIS (a Sunni terrorist group) hinges on reaching a nuclear deal between Iran and world powers.
Barack Obama, an incredibly incompetent foreign policy maker, sent four secret letters to Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, last month, according to The Wall Street Journal.
He wrote that the two nations have shared interests in fighting the Islamic State group in Iraq and Syria, but that any cooperation between Tehran and Washington on this issue would hinge upon reaching an agreement over Iran’s nuclear program by the November 24 deadline, The Wall Street Journal, reported on Thursday.
This development, one congressional source told Fox News “f***s up everything.” The source said that the letter would upset the inroads they’ve tried to make with “the Sunni league,” noting that the president should have informed Congress of this back-channel if it was in fact going on.
Republican Senators John McCain of Arizona and Lindsey Graham of South Carolina issued a joint statement Thursday night saying it was “outrageous that, while the cries of moderate Syrian forces for greater U.S. assistance fall on deaf ears in the White House, President Obama is apparently urging Ayatollah Khamenei to join the fight against ISIS.”
“The administration needs to understand that this Iranian regime cares more about trying to weaken America and push us out of the Middle East than cooperating with us,” they said in the statement.
“The consequences of this ill-conceived bargain would destroy the Syrians’ last, best chance to live in freedom from the brutal Assad regime.”
Iran is funding, arming and supplying forces to Assad.
President Obama is a fool who is willing to take any deal on the Iran nuclear program even if it means aligning with Shi’a terrorists. Shi’as are enemies of Israel and moderate Sunnis – which includes our allies like Saudi Arabia. Obama – Obama without Congress or the American people – is willing to accept a horrendous deal that allows Iran to become a threshold nuclear power so he can say he reached a deal. This is solely for his own personal gain.
Iran is our enemy but in the fog of his mind, he doesn’t seem to realize it or believe it.
The Iranians have not budged as Mr. Obama and his crew of puppets continually weaken the deal. Iran is laughing at the U.S.
The Iranian president’s senior advisor, Ali Younesi, has called President Barack Obama “the weakest of U.S. presidents” and described the U.S. leader’s tenure in office as “humiliating,” according to a translation of the highly candid comments provided to the Free Beacon..
Haaretz reports that “Over the past few weeks, Israeli officials have discerned a retreat in the West’s positions with regard to the number of centrifuges Iran would be allowed to keep under a final agreement. Iran, they say, hasn’t budged, but the West has gradually upped the number of centrifuges it would be willing to live with.”
If Obama had any sense, he would know Iranians are our mortal enemies. He is negotiating with terrorists who want to destroy the West, especially the U.S.
Our allies – or anyone – will never trust us again and they shouldn’t. We elected this man – twice.
Mr. Obama is focused on his legacy and he believes this deal will make all things right. He is not focused on the American people or our allies because of his narcissistic personality. He is going it alone in his unbridled arrogance.
The White House did not inform either Israel or America’s Gulf State allies, like Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, about the letter, the first of which was sent in mid-October.
The White House has not denied the WSJ report. Josh Ernest told the press they can’t discuss private correspondence with world leaders. There is no doubt that there was correspondence.
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Friday morning that Israel would oppose any deal between Iran and Western powers that links the stopping of Iran’s nuclear program with cooperation in the fight against the Islamic State group.
To summarize, the United States is begging a Shi’a terrorist state, who want to destroy us and Israel and conquer our Sunni allies, to give him a bad nuclear deal so the U.S. and Iran can attack a Sunni terrorist state together. Barack Obama has done so without consulting with anyone in the Congress or in the world as if no one else matters in a move that could well ignite a war like we have never seen before. He has abandoned Syria to Iran in this move.
Israel and Saudi Arabia were outraged when news surfaced of the secret channel.
Lt. Col. Ralph Peters appeared on The Hannity Show last evening and succinctly described the problem.
“Sending this secret letter, this begging letter, to the Supreme leader or Iran was an act of ferocious stupidity and terrible treachery.”
“It will be read and rightly as an act of betrayal by every single ally we have in the greater Middle East from Israel to Saudi Arabia . It was stupid because it plays into the hands of the Islamic State, Jabha al Nusra, al Qaeda, all these Sunni organizations – Iranians are Shi’a – so they will be able to say, Look, America, the United States, the Great Satan, they’re siding with Shi’a heretics, the devil’s against us.“
“It potentially could spark an even greater religious war than we already seen. Worse, it plays into the Iranian hands, weakening our bargaining position…”
President Obama is extremely weak and he is incapable of negotiating with foreign powers. When he tries to appear tough and is met with resistance, he weakens.
President Obama told Bloomberg news network in March 2014 that 95 percent of the sanctions would remain in place during the course of negotiations between Iran and six world powers (the US, Russia, France, China and Britain plus Germany) over Tehran’s nuclear energy program.
Iran’s General Jazzayeri responded by saying, “The low-IQ US president and his country’s Secretary of State John Kerry speak of the effectiveness of ‘the US options on the table’ on Iran while this phrase is mocked at and has become a joke among the Iranian nation, especially the children.”
He reiterated that all US forces in the region are within the reach of Iran’s military power and “if they err, the region will be turned into a hell for them”.
On January 20, a confidential report by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said that Iran has halted its 20 percent enrichment activity under the Geneva deal. Hours later the US and the EU removed part of their sanctions against Tehran.
It was originally supposed to be 5 percent.
There are no mechanisms in place to verify they did halt enrichment.
Iran Watch said this past September that with its thousands of gas centrifuges, Iran now has the ability to enrich uranium to a grade suitable for use in nuclear reactors or to a higher grade suitable for use in nuclear warheads.
