Obama’s Marxist Leanings Finds Its Way Into WH Music Series

Since February, 2009, Obama has held concerts in the White House and he is now holding his first-ever country music series. That is a good thing. His choice of one singer is a bad thing.

Here is the White House press release –

“Upcoming Guidance on “Country Music: In Performance at the White House”

…Monday, November 21 * White House – As part of their “In Performance at the White House” series, the President and First Lady will invite music legends and contemporary major artists to the White House for a celebration of country music. The program will include performances by Lauren Alaina, The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley, Alison Krauss, Kris Kristofferson, Lyle Lovett, Mickey, Darius Rucker and James Taylor…”

Kris Kristofferson is a communist and supporter of international communist causes. Why are we accepting communists in the White House? It’s one thing for him to perform in concert halls, but shouldn’t our White House make a statement by not inviting communist sympathizers? The White House is paid for by taxpayer dollars and I don’t want a communist performing in it.

Kristofferson once said, “the whole country was built on genocide, the murder of natives.” Kristofferson surely hates the United States.

Kristofferson likes Latin American commie dictators and rails against his country based on the “history of economic exploitation in Latin America by the United States.” During the 1980s, Kristofferson often supported the El Salvadoran Communist rebels and traveled to Nicaragua to meet with its Marxist president, Daniel Ortega. He entertained Nortega on the anniversary of the Communist revolution and said at the time, “my government was terrorizing the government of Nicaragua.”

Just listen to the lyrics of this song and you will know where Kristofferson is coming from –

Where the young men’s brave new visions threaten old men’s selfish
And they try to crush the spirit with their money and machines
And they call it communism because they don’t know what it means
In the third world war

And the rich keep getting richer and as wrong as they are right
And the poor become the victims of the armies of the night
And the odds are never even and their skins are never white
In the third world war

Broken rules and dirty warriors spreading lies and secret funds
Can’t defeat the Campesino with their money and their guns
‘Cause he’s fighting for his future and his Freedom and his sons
In the third world war

I’m not a big fan of James Taylor either. I heard James Taylor in concert when the first George Bush was President. I was a liberal then, but the way Taylor behaved was unacceptable to me. After I paid good money to hear him sing, he had the gall to spend most of the concert railing against Bush. I didn’t pay to hear his politics, but in his arrogance, he felt we all deserved the privilege of hearing his boorish opinions.
