It’s not enough that our government agencies have become rogue governments-within-a-government, they are now arming themselves. At the same time, Mr. Obama is decimating the military. The U.S.D.A. is the latest agency to heavily arm themselves. Can you see the problem here?
The USDA is about to secure arms that are normally reserved for the military. According to their May 7th release, they have “a requirement for the commerical acquisition of submachine guns, .40 Cal. S&W, ambidextrous safety, semi-automatic or 2 shot burts trigger group, Tritium night sights for front and rear, rails for attachment of flashlight (front under fore grip) and scope (top rear), stock-collapsilbe or folding, magazine – 30 rd. capacity, sling, light weight, and oversized trigger guard for gloved operation.”
Show me the scenario where the USDA needs very heavy-handed, para-military capability.
If they can’t disarm us, they will certainly out-arm us.
This is the same government that descended on the Bundy ranch in full assault gear long before any militia showed up to help the Bundys. They hid behind berms and watched the family through scopes while fully armored. That was the real story of the Bundy ranch.
The U.S.D.A. doesn’t need submachine guns to stamp out price gougers but they might need them to steal or control private land.
The role of the Department of Agriculture according to the DOA:
The Department of Agriculture works to improve and maintain farm income and to develop and expand markets abroad for agricultural products. The Department helps to curb and to cure poverty, hunger, and malnutrition. It works to enhance the environment and to maintain production capacity by helping landowners protect the soil, water, forests, and other natural resources. Rural development, credit, and conservation programs are key resources for carrying out national growth policies. Department research findings directly or indirectly benefit all Americans. The Department, through inspection and grading services, safeguards and ensures standards of quality in the daily food supply.
Every government agency is actively pursuing the president’s statist agenda as they secure arms.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture and the Environmental Protection Agency recently announced a joint initiative to improve access to clean water and wastewater infrastructure for U.S. communities along the Mexico border. This is all part of the government’s plan to seize control over all water bodies in the United States from ditches to seas.
They are now funding a needs assessment for water and wastewater infrastructure in the border region “to increase the sustainability of rural drinking water and wastewater systems.”
It will be expensive and it will drastically change the land rights of private property owners.
The government owns large swaths of land and hopes to control the rest.
It was last August when it came to light that more than 40 government agencies had armed divisions after the EPA raided the tiny gold mining town of Chicken, Alaska hoping to find Clean Water violators.
These agencies have more than 120,000 full-time officers with guns and it’s not just DHS or the FBI, it includes the Library of Congress, the Department of Education, the Federal Reserve Board, the Post Office, and other unlikely departments.
The EPA descended on Chicken, Alaska with more than 70 federal agents in full body armor carrying M-16s and “assault shotguns.”
“Imagine coming up to your diggings, only to see agents swarming over it like ants, wearing full body armor, with jackets that say “POLICE” emblazoned on them, and all packing side arms,” gold miner C.R. Hammond told the Alaska Dispatch.
I can imagine it because I’ve been to Third World nations.
The other federal agencies participating in the operation were the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the Coast Guard, the National Oceanic and the Atmospheric Administration and the U.S. Park Service.
The EPA denied it was a raid though it was impossible to deny the armor and M-16s.
The government has been raiding gun factories, gun parts stores, and there have been endless land grabs in the name of the environment. The government is cutting down the military while growing the power of Executive Branch agencies. What could go wrong? Nothing to see here.
For a good rundown of who is armed, go to the Federalist Papers.
Be reassured to know that the government agencies do not hesitate to share your information with one another and we know the NSA collects your information. The FBI can turn on your smart phone and camera any time they want.
We now arrest parents for voicing their opinions at school board meetings. We live in an upside down world and we are doing nothing about it.
The government targets people viciously using the IRS, the DOJ, and the EPA, but prior to the Bundy assault, it mostly centered on financial assaults and threats of prison time. They now believe an agency like the Bureau of Land Management can go onto your property with assault weapons without recrimination.
Obama has mandated healthcare professionals violate HIPPA laws and give private patient information to the government. This can be used to confiscate guns. They will need arms to enforce that.
These government agencies all report directly to the President of the United States, not Congress. Congress gave up their power over the agencies a hundred years ago. Government agencies are essentially enforcement arms of the president and now they are heavily armed. Does that sound like a burgeoning dictatorship?
As the power of agencies and regulations grows, they will need more and more fire power which they will one day need to use against us to control us.
