Obama’s Storyline on Russia Is “Evolving”

President Obama is now claiming that on October 31st, after telling Putin to “cut it out” in September, he used the red phone [currently an email system] that connects Moscow to D.C. to warn him to stop messing in our elections. The “red phone system” is used in crisis situations. He almost threatened war but held back.

Last week, Obama was roundly mocked for telling Putin to “cut it out”. It was a wimpy approach. Suddenly, he’s become Mr. Tough Guy.

Several intelligence officials told NBC News the use of the system communicated just how serious the situation had become.

They said that worked. “Look at the results,” said an Obama administration official. “There was nothing done on Election Day, so it must have worked.” They also claim that the emails had already been stolen.

The US government wants you to believe that Obama was on the case and it was very serious. “This action was part of our ongoing, rigorous efforts to press the Russian government to halt the actions of those responsible for these cyber attacks,” an anonymous official told NBC News.

Obama claimed success for his message to Putin at a news conference last Friday and he was highly criticized for that.

“I felt that the most effective way to ensure that that didn’t happen was to talk to him directly and tell him to cut it out and there were going to be serious consequence if he didn’t,” said Obama. “In fact, we didn’t see further tampering of the election process.

Remember this.
