Press TV, the Iranian-backed media outlet, reported that White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough has announced that the UN Security Council would vote on any nuclear deal between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus Germany.
“Just as it is true that only Congress can terminate U.S. statutory sanctions on Iran, only the Security Council can terminate the Security Council’s sanctions on Iran,” McDonough said.
“Because the principal negotiators of an arrangement with Iran are the five permanent members of the Security Council, we anticipate that the Security Council would pass a resolution to register its support for any deal and increase its international legitimacy,” he added.
McDonough made the remarks in a letter to Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Bob Corker on Saturday.
Those remarks were backed up by State Department spokesman, Jen Psaki on Friday.
This will mark the complete and utter defeat of Congress, the peoples’ branch of government.
It means that it will become almost impossible to cancel the deal when a future president takes office. More significantly, it will mean the end of the sanctions program and pave the way for Iran to secure a nuclear bomb.
This agreement is also spurring a nuclear arms race in the Middle East.
There are some very dangerous people in the Middle East who would love to acquire WMDs to destroy entire cities and countries if they can.
Former Ambassador Bolton in an appearance on Fox News said that the nuclear arms race has already begun. He once thought our Middle Eastern allies would have waited for Iran to get the bomb but he no longer believes that.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is lagging in the most recent polls in the upcoming Israeli elections. Bolton said that if Netanyahu loses, the new administration will probably go along with the Obama administration’s nuclear deal. Iran will shed the sanctions, their economy will recover and they will be on their way to obtaining a bomb.
A Senate panel is investigating the Obama administration’s possible involvement in derailing Netanyahu’s election chances by funding a campaign to oust him.
Netanyahu claims that tens of millions of dollars are coming in from foreign governments to defeat his party.
“I turn to the public out of concern that we will not be able to form the government because of the enormous support to them from foreign associations which are giving them tens of millions of dollars,” the Prime Minister told Israel Radio, referring to the Zionist Union leaders Isaac Herzog and Tzipi Livni.
“This support is provided because those giving it know that if elected they will accept the dictates of the international community.”
Mr Netanyahu added: “People and foreign advisers and associations are going to hundreds of thousands of households; they go to the Arab sector so that it will go out and vote more. There is a world-embracing effort to replace the Likud government that I head with a left government… What we are seeing is only the tip of the iceberg.’’
Actor Jon Voigt cut a commercial for Netanyahu and his message to Israelis is that Barack Obama wants Bibi Netanyahu to lose and he is no friend of Israel. Obama wants to control Israel because his agenda is to be friends with Israel’s enemies, Obama said.
Voight also explained that those like Herzog who believe that deal making is the solution to Israel’s problems is as wrong as Neville Chamberlain.
Unbelievably, John Kerry said he might negotiate with al-Assad next. Assad is the terrorist who has killed about two hundred thousand of his own people. appears to have used chemical weapons on them, and has allowed Iran to set up a satellite government in Damascus.
He is the terrorist Obama said must go and the man for whom Obama drew a red line.
Kerry told a television interviewer on Sunday that Washington will “have to negotiate in the end” with Syrian President Bashar al Assad.
Asked if he is ready to negotiate directly with the Syrian strongman, Kerry responded that if Assad is “ready to have a serious negotiation” about implementing an agreement made in Geneva in 2012, “people are prepared to do that,” Daily Beast reported.
Ed Klein, former N.Y. Times Editor, is hearing from his sources that Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett is the one who leaked the information about Hillary Clinton’s emails as she was about to announce her bid for the presidency.
It wouldn’t be surprising. Obama would much prefer someone as far left as he is like Martin O’Malley or Elizabeth Warren to protect his leftist legacy and continue his transformation of America.
One of the things I noticed when I observed the Occupy Wall Street mobs in New York was that, in addition to the fact that they were mostly Communists and Anarchists, they were all very supportive of Iran and Cuba.
It should be obvious as to where this will all lead.
