It is not only border agent Brian Terry who was murdered by guns provided by the Holder Justice Department. Hundreds of Mexicans have died – do you care America? Who speaks for them? Apparently Univision!
Univision put their top investigative reporters on the Fast & Furious case. What they found will shock you if the Issa investigation didn’t.
Our government sold guns to drug cartels, not under Bush, but under Obama’s administration and Holder’s DOJ. If Holder did not know about it, as he says, he should have known as one AP reporter said.
Univision uncovered a second failed operation called Operation Castaway which sold weapons to cartels in Columbia and Honduras.
Univision reported on the startling incompetence of the U.S. government which included the release of a confessed hitman who promised to become an informer and was never seen or heard from again.
Univision’s investigative reporters obtained information about Fast & Furious through the Mexican Freedom of Information Act. They obtained a list of 100,000 weapons recovered in Mexico in 2009 and 2010. The guns were then compared with the serial numbers of the 2,000 guns sold in Fast and Furious.
Univision identified 57 previously unreported firearms that were bought by straw purchasers during Operation Fast and Furious and then recovered in Mexico in sites related to murders, kidnappings and other actions by Mexican hit men and drug cartels.
Univision revealed one such massacre that was later found to be linked with Fast and Furious from January 2010 in Juarez, Mexico.
Twenty assassins were hired by a drug cartel to target rival gang members attending a high school party of 60 youths, mostly teenagers. Many of the victims were innocents. The gang members waited until the party was underway and then, around midnight, went in with guns blazing. They killed 16 and injured 14. Three of the guns used were from the Fast & Furious operation. This is from a report by the Mexican army.
Read a summary at the Examiner which corroborates the fact that Bush’s program was completely different from Holder’s Fast & Furious. Holder’s Fast & Furious operation was a disaster, one that has been covered up.
