“There’s no negotiation to have; we’re doing the show,” said an insider close to the situation. “We’ll figure out a solution. It’s just not going to happen overnight. Everybody will take a break for the holidays and regroup afterward. That’s probably the smartest thing for everyone to do. Time heals a lot of wounds.”

Nine of the ten episodes are in the can. Some speculated that scenes with Phil would be edited out.

Robertson is under fire for an interview with GQ in which he said homosexuality is a sin, quoting from the bible to support his viewpoint.

Huff Po is claiming Robertson compared homosexuality to bestiality which is not true. What Robertson said was enough in of itself, Huff Po didn’t have to make it worse. When the reporter asked Robertson what he found sinful, he said “Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men.”

Robertson was telling the reporter what he found sinful, and bestiality was on the list after homosexual behavior. He didn’t compare them except to say they were sins. It’s what he believes. It’s hard to know why Huff Po feels the need to make it sound worse.

Duck Dynasty is getting an incredible 14.6 million viewers per show.

The Robertson family is still not optimistic about the show continuing. They have no plans to continue without their patriarch.
