They finally caught up with him
Now I understand why some members of Congress get along so well with Hollywood. They are wannabe actors.
Along with 200 other troublemakers, 8 congressmen blocked a road on the mall and, on cue, the police came over and dutifully handcuffed them.
It was a photo op arrest while – on the same mall – veterans were not allowed to view open air memorials.
It was like watching an Occupy rally.
People in this country are suffering and these elected officials think it’s appropriate to hold protests for people here illegally and fake an arrest for the cause.
Families of soldiers who died in the war overseas could not be flown home or buried by the government, allegedly because of the shutdown, and these people are out spending taxpayer money to stage this event.
They are a disgrace.
It was nice seeing these representatives in handcuffs however: Reps. John Lewis, D-Ga.; Luis Gutiérrez, D-Ill.; Raúl Grijalva, D-Ariz.; Keith Ellison, D-Minn.; Joseph Crowley and Charles Rangel, both D-N.Y.; Al Green, D-Texas; and Jan Schakowsky, D-Ill.
Slides of arrested Congressmen – if only it were real:
Video of illegala demanding rights and the Congressmen who aid and abet them being escorted by police in their sham arrest:
Isn’t it nice that they all had so much fun while citizens are made to suffer? Do people see nothing wrong with this picture? How do you feel about congressmen who think a faux arrest for a faux civil rights movement is appropriate while the military are treated miserably?
