Is the media biased or simply without ingenuity? What?
Trump has fallen behind in Iowa since his comment about religion which many took as a criticism of Dr. Carson’s religion. His actual comment was, “I love Iowa. And, look, I don’t have to say it, I’m Presbyterian. … Boy, that’s down the middle of the road, folks, in all fairness. I mean, Seventh-day Adventist, I don’t know about. I just don’t know about.”
He didn’t name Carson but when he said he wasn’t trying to plant seeds of doubt about Carson while being interviewed on abc’s This Week, it didn’t ring true for some which presented an opportunity for the media.
Since that comment, Trump fell significantly in the Iowa polls so he went to Iowa to ask them to vote for him.
“Will you get these numbers up?” he asked. “I promise you I will do such a good job. First of all, I am a great Christian. And I do well with the evangelicals, but the evangelicals let me down a little bit this month. I don’t know what I did.”
The headlines describing his comments were all identical.
Check out the titles of articles next to the name of the news source and you tell me why they are all saying the same thing after listening to the video clip.
