Police Say Forcing Drivers off the Road for DNA Is 100% Voluntary!

Update: One of our readers, Sua Sponte, noted that PIRE, Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation, conducted the forcibly-enacted study and they are linked to George Soros through funding. The Institute has been involved in other questionable research which always seems to come to the conclusion that left-wing ideology is proven right. For example, Breitbart uncovered information that shows they oppose alcohol, tobacco, and guns. They advocate for increased regulation and tax hikes on items identified as harmful by public health experts.

If this Fort Worth Texas program is 100% voluntary, my mother wears Army boots as Gramps used to say.

On Friday, police forced innocent drivers to stop at a police roadblock and then directed them into a parking lot whether they wanted to go or not. After they were made to park, federal contractors (CONTRACTORS!) asked them for samples of their breath, saliva and even blood. As they spoke with drivers, they secretly and passively tested their breath for alcohol.

The drivers were simply driving along, doing nothing wrong, when they were forcibly stopped for the ‘100% voluntary program,’ in North Fort Worth.

The request was part of a government research study aimed at determining the number of drunken or drug-impaired drivers.

Police in Fort Worth said they didn’t know a thing about it, but police apparently put up the roadblocks and forced drivers off the road into a parking lot. Federal contractors then asked them for samples of the drivers’ breath, saliva, and blood. Unbeknownst to the drivers, who were doing nothing more than driving innocently along the highway, they had already been passively tested for alcohol without their knowledge.

The government study is being conducted to determine  the number of drunken or drug-impaired drivers.

So, does the end justify the means? How would you like it if you were pulled off the road? I wouldn’t like it.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, who are conducting the nearly-8 million dollar survey claim it’s 100% voluntary and anonymous.

THEY PULLED PEOPLE OFF THE ROAD AND TOOK SECRET ALCOHOL TESTS!!! Does that sound voluntary to you?

One victim, Kim Cope, who was on her lunch break, said it didn’t seem right that ‘you can be forced off the road’ when you ‘aren’t doing anything wrong.’ She said she gestured she wanted to go straight and was ‘forced’ into a ‘parking spot.’

She couldn’t believe what happened next.

They offered ‘$10 for ‘cheek swabs’ and they said they’d give ‘$50 for blood.’

In the least they wanted to test for alcohol.

She said she felt trapped and consented to the breathalyzer, took no money, and was allowed to leave.

NBC confirmed the survey was conducted by Pacific Coast contractors with the help of off-duty police. The NHTSA said they would look into the use of off duty police, they apologized, and they’ll get to the bottom of it, you can rest assured.

When the NBC local news called back, the traffic safety and highway dept. was apparently done taking calls and returning them.

If it is 100% voluntary, how come they are secretly testing you before you have given consent?
