The Pope has let loose with some fire-and-brimstone attacks on the “unbridled” Capitalism, leaving “unbridled” undefined; he has demanded voluntary worldwide Marxist-style redistribution; and he has put the label of sinners on those who reject the exaggerated, unproven science of global warming.
When do the inquisitions start?
The United States is a free country in a world filled with a range of dictators, communists and assorted theocratic and technocratic Fascists but it is the United States and EU way of life that the Pope has singled out for condemnation.
Our furthest-left politicians and media have found god with a small “g” in Pope Francis’ leftist dictums. Formerly Catholic haters, the leftists can’t find enough good things to say about this pope.
Only yesterday, Bernie Sanders raved about Pope Francis’ attack on Capitalism and he is using it to further his war on the rich and campaign of envy.
In addition, it has been revealed that the Pope, who has consistently sought the advice of radical socialists and communists, is enlisting the aid of Moonbeam Jerry Brown, a former fellow Jesuit who will go to the Vatican to lend his “expertise” on climate change, even though we all know he has no expertise in science. He’s a lawyer who studied the classics.
Pope Francis, who is putting his papal seal on the religion of global warming, has a “great fan” in the Marxist, Atheist candidate for president for his views on climate change and Capitalism. Bernie Sanders is a spokesperson for the hard left.
Lacking in any charisma with the smoldering anger and non-existent social skills of the red diaper baby, he can fill a room with agita and hate for our way of life within minutes. Absent any good hair days, he appears the buffoon as he screeches his leftist mantra to whoever will listen and right now, the media and thousands of useful idiots are being held in his charmless, inexplicably-tight grasp.
People on both sides of the aisle call mega-billionaire Trump, a clown, but in Bernie, they have an actual real-life clownish politician and yet that glaring trait goes unnoticed. Politico takes him more seriously than any conglomerate of human beings should ever take him.
Like the Pope who said we need a cultural, economic and political revolution, Bernie wants to win the presidential election to lay the groundwork for a “political revolution.”
Sanders’ worldview arises from the Marxist idea (among many Marxist ideas) of false consciousness—the notion that poor Americans are being tricked into voting against their own economic interests.
In an appearance on Face the Nation Sunday, employing his usual angry style, he confirmed for most attentive observers that his Marxist views align quite nicely with those of Pope Francis.
When asked if he agreed with the pope’s harsh condemnation of Capitalism, he said, “What the pope has been saying in a very profound way is Casino type Capitalism is causing devastating problems.”
“Money cannot be the god of life, Sanders hollered, adding later that “we’ve got to come together to create a new world.”
The new world of course is radical socialism with massive redistribution.
He’s a “great fan of Pope Francis”, he declared. He’s a great fan of Marx and Lenin too!
Sanders’ views on economics and class warfare echo the works of Marx and Lenin, as he has proven time-and-again with his own words.
“A nation will not survive morally or economically when so few have so much while so many have so little…We need a tax system which asks the billionaire class to pay its fair share of taxes and which reduces the obscene degree of wealth inequality in America”
It is business that grows the economy and creates jobs not social engineers in enormously big government. That is what raises the lower classes from the depths, not government, which our successful system has proven.
Pope Francis invited California Governor Jerry Brown to lend his expertise on global warming and climate change to a summit at the Vatican later in the month.
Tying religion with science, Brown said this week that climate change combines the spiritual and the political. “Religion deals with the fundamentals,” he said. “When you deal with the fundamentals of what makes the atmosphere, and the weather, and whether that permanently or radically changes, that’s very similar to a fundamental principle of right and wrong.”
We thought church and state were separate. Isn’t that the demand from the left?
The California governor Moonbeam is allowing 70% of the water to be diverted out to sea during a drought for the benefit of the useless little California smelt while he’s threatening $10,000 fines on residents who waste water.
“Despite the fact that California has suffered from droughts for millennia, liberal environmentalists have prevented the building of a single new reservoir or a single new water conveyance system over decades during a period in which California’s population has doubled,” Carly Fiorina said.
“Because of this, 70 percent of California’s rainfall “washes out to sea” year after year,” she added on Glenn Beck’s radio show in April.
California Gov. Jerry Brown announced a crackdown on water usage by residents and businesses to deal with water usage during the drought. He didn’t include the agriculture industry which accounts for 80% of the human water usage, however. He can’t do that of course but what he is doing means little. A mere 25% less water usage by 20% of the users is only enough to make people feel uncomfortable and accept the false doctrine espoused by climate exaggerators.
This is the Pope’s expert?
Pope Francis has surrounded himself with Marxist advisers, including communist rabble-rouser and Occupier of Wall Street, Naomi Klein, leftist radical Dominican Father Timothy Radcliffe, socialist Jeffrey Sachs, and revolutionary Marxist Joseph Stiglitz.
If it walks like a duck, talks like a duck and hangs around with a bunch of ducks, it’s a duck.
