UPDATE HERE, THE PRESIDENT SAYS NO DEAL

After dining with President Trump this evening, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) say that they have reached an agreement with President Trump to protect foreigners who were brought here by their parents, otherwise known as DACA.

They’ve also reached agreement on border security but no wall – yet.

“We had a very productive meeting at the White House with the President. The discussion focused on DACA. We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that’s acceptable to both sides,” Schumer and Pelosi said in a statement.

This comes after Mitch McConnell said tax reform will probably be delayed until next year.

Trump’s not waiting for Republicans. President Trump has made it clear he’s willing to make deals with Democrats if Republicans won’t move the agenda.

After the announcement was made, Democrats mocked Trump for doing what they want.

I agree. I’m seriously doubting this President. All the true supporters have left the Administration. What’s even more troubling is all the low-level employees that have been fired by anti-Trump managers and a September massacre that is soon to come of more Trump supporting employees being fired. There will be no one left advising the President that agrees with his mandate and no employees in lower level positions at the agencies to enact those policies. I seriously doubt any of the agenda will come to pass and we will still be where we are.

Very disturbing. He had promised to end DACA. He has broken one of the key promises that caused people to vote for him. Immigration is killing this country, and this just extends it. And makes it worse.

A lot of very upset Trump supporters tonight.

As far as Republicans and Democrats? They all the same. They’re just one party. Their ‘differences’ are for public consumption. They all are globalists, bought and sold to whoever the highest bidders are these days.

Deal with Democrats, deal with Republicans — they’re the same. Republicans showed their true colors after Trump’s election. They never intended to repeal Obamacare. They never intended to end DACA.

We have, I’m afraid, been had …..

We all have doubts. But consider the sources, and all the false stories about Trump the past 8 months. Congress is now under the pressure. Imagine what will happen to republicans who support amnesty. There would be an uproar. And if Ryan tries to pass amnesty using democrat votes he would be removed. They start campaigning in the spring. The budget in December is a similar problem for Congress. If they produce another huge budget with no reforms, PP funding, no wall, and also no tax cuts, they will be in trouble.

So far he gave them nothing, they agreed to a more conservative spending resolution than the republicans proposed. Ryan’s idea was an 18 month non-budget with no reforms, the purpose was to protect members and block Trump’s agenda. It was a trick. Ryan’s idea was just another Obama non-budget. If Congress wants to pass amnesty then they can face consequences. The democrats did not do it when they held both houses. They were afraid to. The House could easily block amnesty and remove Ryan over it.
