Maybe if we call the aborted babies “Cecil” instead of “fetuses” people would care how their lives are ended and how their bodies are treated after death.
Newsbusters reported that the three broadcast networks, ABC, NBC and CBS censored the third video released Tuesday by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) exposing Planned Parenthood’s practice of harvesting aborted baby parts — censored it at Planned Parenthood’s urging.
They did, however, find more than 14 minutes to spend on the “outrage” over the shooting of the famed lion Cecil by an American dentist who said he did it not knowing he was a famous, protected lion which may or may not be true.
Two weeks of harvested baby organs didn’t equal the one day coverage of Cecil the Lion.
The Dentist’s office Wednesday.
The New York Times has put up several articles about Cecil saying he was lured out of his sanctuary, he was beheaded and left to rot in the sun.
Cecil the Lion
The New York Times took a different tack with the Planned Parenthood story. They portrayed the story of harvested and possibly illegally sold aborted baby body parts as just the “latest in a series of unrelenting attacks on Planned Parenthood”.
The Center for Medical Progress, the organization that conducted the sting, are undermining “women’s rights” and an organization that provides health services to millions.
Why is a private company needed to provide these services when we have Obamacare?
The Times questioned the tax-exempt status of The Center and vilified them.
Planned Parenthood administrators did not admit they were profiting from the parts and The Center was trying to entrap them, according to the Times.
In fact, the truth is thatone representative described how she alters her late term abortion procedures to “crush” the baby in specific areas as to preserve sought-after and lucrative body parts.
The New York Times didn’t show the chopped up baby hands, feet, spines nor did they show the joking Planned Parenthood employees. They didn’t show the price list for the body parts.
The callous Planned Parenthood administrators and staff were merely exhibiting “medical professionalism”, the Times reported.
The dentist does not deserve any benefit of doubt after having killed a lion, but Planned Parenthood deserves every consideration when they are on video laughing about dissected baby body parts and discussing the price the parts bring.
Human unborn babies have no rights – none – but people are ‘outraged’ over the killing of a lion and fear for the fate of his cubs. There is a petition with tens of thousand of signatures and two supermodels are making news for leading the protest against the dentist, calling him a “poor excuse of a human being”.
The dentist is getting death threats and Planned Parenthood is racking up heavy Democrat support.
Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) tweeted, “If, as reported, this dentist & guides lured #CeciltheLion out of the park with food so as to shoot him on private property because shooting #CeciltheLion in the park would have been illegal, he needs to be extradited, charged, &, preferably, hanged.”
It is unfortunate about the lion of course but what about the baby harvesting business?
Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota warned or perhaps you could say threatened news outlets Wednesday claiming airing undercover videos from the Center for Medical Progress [CMP] could violate “patient privacy,” Townhall reported.
Planned Parenthood says the videos violate laws when there is no evidence that The Center did anything wrong.
It’s impossible to know if people care at all about Planned Parenthood’s gruesome side business and if people are as “outraged” over the death of Cecil as the New York Times portrays, because the news is not a vehicle for conveying information, it’s a vehicle for swaying opinion. The only thing one can be certain of is that the New York Times is changing the subject to a lion and defending the indefensible.
