Pat Noble (no relation, I hope) is a 19 year old who works behind a pharmacy counter as a clerk and he is a proud socialist who officially became a member of the Red Bank Regional High School Board of Education this past Wednesday. His father, Peter, is a member of the Red Bank Borough Public Schools.
Pat Noble hopes to overthrow capitalism and his voice will grow louder as a member of the school board where he hopes to change the school system in Red Bank for starters.
The high school graduate founded the Socialist Party of Monmouth and Ocean Counties and plans to bring his insurrection up a notch.
He wants sex education with LGBT lessons, supports left-wing views opposing capitalism, opposes merit pay (let’s not expect teachers to earn their pay), and avidly supports increased spending and no budget cuts. He hopes to ban all military recruitment from campus. [NJ Ledger]
Pat Noble is a good example of what is going on in the United States today. He isn’t the only one sent out to affect change in our school systems:

“In 2005, Shane Brinton, an 18-year-old who had been involved with local Communist Party anti-war activities, was elected to the North Humboldt Union High School Board of Education in northern California. Brinton, a Democrat, said in the book The Next Generation: Young Elected Officials and Their Impact on American Politics, that he was not a member of the Communist Party, but was involved with it as part of his opposition to the Iraq War, noting that it was better organized. Brinton, now the mayor of Arcata, Calif., had a similar platform to Noble on the school board, including opposing military recruiters and overhauling the school system’s sex education curriculum.”
“J. Brendan Galligan, 23, was sworn-in as a member of the Westfield Board of Education last week. Galligan, an engineering student, did not disclose his political beliefs in his campaign, and did not include changes to Westfield’s sex education curriculum or a military recruitment ban in his platform.”
If you go to Noble’s Socialist Party website, you will find them referring to each other as “comrades.” They stand with Palestine, they’re vegetarians, anti-imperialists, and they want to control the means of production in a classless society. They call for full employment and unions for all. The full employment of course would be achieved by taking from those who have more and giving it to the unemployed. Everyone would have a salary just because they exist.
He wants a radical democracy which will give us tyranny of the majority. They are committed to the overthrow of capitalism.
