Barack Obama sees the cromnibus as a big win but so does Obama. Who’s right?
Republicans are very proud of their performance and have put out an ad touting their successes. Are they out of touch?
Mitch McConnell thinks they have the Senate back to work as they promised:
Barack Obama also bragged about the work of congress and the recent bill in his speech Friday. It’s a “good win”, he said, and it funds education and the EPA’s fossil-killing rules. It also relieves sequester.
“We’re going to make sure we’re investing in things like early childhood education, making college more affordable. We’re going to be able to implement the clean power plant rule. We’re going to be able to continue to invest in clean energy that spurs on innovation. We’re going to be able to make sure that our military gets the equipment and the training that it needs in order to be effective in fighting ISIL and other threats around the world system. It was a good win.
The most ideological president in our history, who is promoting leftist ideology with the budget said he got rid of all the ideological stuff.
“And I said I would not accept a lot of ideological riders that were attached to a big budget deal. And we met our goals.”
The Republicans gave in on everything for the right to sell oil. When the price goes up and it’s not such a win, they might regret it or not.
