Well, unsurprisingly, President Obama’s campaign is in full swing now. Actually, I’m not sure it ever ended, but a full 13 months before the election, Obama has become the lame duck campaigner. Obama will not be alone.
Reverend Al Sharpton, of Tawana Brawley fame, is taking to the road next month to tout Obama’s faux jobs plan and bring attention to the plight of the unemployed. He is planning a march with civil rights groups and union members/leaders, and you’ll never guess where he’s going – to the mall, the day before the new memorial to MLK.
Rev. Al is going to make this jobs bill about civil rights and union rights. Some of the groups marching with him will be the NEA, AFT, NAACP, the National Urban League and the National Council of La Raza.
Rev. Al is also the host of PoliticsNation on MSLSD, I mean MSNBC, a very far left Immelt/GE connected network. Immelt, of course, is on Obama’s jobs council. That incestuous relationship is a good example of corruption in the media, and it will be used to drive Obama to victory in 2012.
This does presage Obama’s campaign strategy. It will be a civil rights, union jobs, anti-rich, “we want jobs now,” protest style campaign, as if Obama isn’t the reason there are no jobs.
Joe Biden told a radio host today, in referring to the 2012 election, “Right now, understandably—totally legitimate—this is a referendum on Obama and Biden and the nature of the state of the economy.” Joe gets it, I hope America does.
Be prepared for them to roll out the racist banner any time someone tries to go after Obama on the issues, because Obama’s ideology and re-election will be likened to a civil rights movement. To equate Obama’s election with a civil rights movement is disingenuous and downright unethical, especially since he’s all about taking rights away from some to give to others.
