In an article in Politico, they pointed out that the RNC is spending $0 on TV ads for Donald Trump – something they have never done before with any other candidate.
In 2004, the committee spent $18.2 million on independent expenditures (IE) boosting George W. Bush’s reelection bid. In 2008, the RNC’s IE spending surged to $53.5 million in support of John McCain’s campaign against Barack Obama. And in 2012, the RNC spent $42.4 million on IEs boosting Mitt Romney or opposing President Obama – with nearly 80 percent of the spending occurring before mid-October.
The RNC has spent only $321,000 on independent expenditures attacking Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. And all of that spending occurred last fall — before Trump had emerged as the leader for the GOP presidential nomination.
The fact that they are not attacking Hillary is perhaps cause for even greater concern to many Republicans who are fed up with the lack of a willingness by the GOP to fight Barack Obama’s agenda for eight years.
This revelation comes at a time when the Trump campaign is in full-blown crisis mode.
A number of women have come out to say Donald Trump groped them or kissed them in a way he described in the Billy Bush tapes, and if you believe numbers count, there are six of them, according to the Daily Mail. One of the accusers, Jessica Leeds, has been tied to the Clinton campaign, and another is represented by hoax lawyer, Gloria Allred.
None of this can compare to the things Bill Clinton has done or to the legal violations of Hillary Clinton.
Trump has strongly denied the allegations.
“The phony story in the failing @nytimes is a TOTAL FABRICATION. Written by same people as last discredited story on woman. WATCH!” Trump tweeted Thursday morning.
At a campaign rally in Florida this week, Trump said, “these were nothing more than false smears,” “these claims are all fabricated,” and “these events never, ever happened.”
He did make the mistake of insulting his accusers’ appearance. Mr. Trump makes great points in his speeches but the media doesn’t talk about that.
Unfortunately, the tack the campaign will now take is to bring more of Bill Clinton’s accusers out before the public. Each campaign takes the smears against their candidate and seeks to paint the other with the same smears, only worse. If Trump calls Hillary a liar, the Clinton campaign makes him into a worse liar and if Trump brings Bill’s alleged victims to the debate, Trump is accused of groping by Hillary’s media.
Trump’s campaign threatened to paint former President Bill Clinton “as Bill Cosby,” the same day multiple women accused Trump of making unwanted sexual advances toward them.
They have promised to unveil some new accusers of Bill Clinton’s that have never been revealed before, and the National Enquirer is reporting that the Clinton campaign is scared to death that some of Hillary’s sexual scandals may be exposed to the public as well.
As this unpleasant campaign drives on with Trump being directed away from the issues Americans care about, the media is acting as an arm of the Democrat Party,
CNN reports that in three of the latest state polls this week, Hillary Clinton’s northern “blue wall” is holding while carrying significant leads across a number of key states.
The polls, taken after the release of the Billy Bush tape show Clinton leading in Pennsylvania (9 points), Michigan (11 points) and Wisconsin (7 points). At the same time, Trump has pulled out of Virginia, a traditionally key swing state. he has lost the lead in Florida and North Carolina where she is up by 4 in both states.
Democrats have a strong advantage in the Electoral College and, taken with the polls, Trump has a very narrow path to the magic 270 number needed to win the presidency..
Clinton’s lead nationally is up by 3 points. This kind of lead puts the down-votes in key Senate and even House races at risk as Republicans scramble to save Congress from a Democrat Party with little regard for the Constitution.
A Donald Trump victory is beginning to fall into the miracle category at this point and it leaves many Americans with the grim reality that a Soros-Podesta choice candidate will enter the White House in January, bringing with her all the sleazy characters from the last Clinton administration, including her husband who will have “a very important job in her administration”.
There is a glimmer of hope for Trump supporters, however. New Wikileaks revelations have exposed the illegal workings of the Clinton Foundation, the vast corruption in the government and the media, and possible embezzlement by the First Daughter. The FBI, however, will clearly not investigate or recommend prosecution and the media is barely reporting it.
Just make sure to vote to have a say in the way this turns out.
