San Antonio Hopes to Ban Christians from City Government

Big Brother is watching

The San Antonio City Council, under Mayor Julian Castro, is attacking the First Amendment. They are considering an ordinance that will add to the sexual orientation and gender identity discrimination ordinances. It would ban anyone that ever – in word or deed – opposed homosexuality from being involved in city government, even from accepting a city contract.

There are no exemptions for religious belief.

The ban violates free speech and freedom of religion.

It opens up the possibility of innumerable lawsuits against inns and retreat houses that won’t marry homosexual couples. It will force the closure of Christian adoption agencies. Christian schools declining homosexuals could be sued. The list is endless.
