Donald Trump accused Bernie Sanders supporters of orchestrating the dangerous and threatening assaults on Trump rallies. He’s right of course. MoveOn and Bernie4Sanders were largely behind the attacks.

Bernie Sanders responded at a town hall Sunday, accusing Trump of “inciting violence” and calling him a “pathological liar.”

“I hesitate to say this because I really don’t like to disparage public officials but Donald Trump is a pathological liar,” Sanders said. He blasted Trump for saying he might pay the legal fees for the man who punched a black protester walking past him at one of the rallies. Sanders said this is “inciting violence.”

Sanders did not condemn the anarchists, socialists or communists who have been verbally assaulting Trump at rallies and who deprived Trump of his freedom of speech at the Chicago rally.

Trump’s success is largely based on his immigration stand. Sanders said it’s irrational to talk about building a wall. He doesn’t believe we should have borders.

“Well, look, Jake. We live in a global economy, and everybody understands that trade is a positive thing. Nobody is talking about building a wall around the United States. Of course, we are going to trade. Oh, I beg your pardon, there is one guy talk about building a wall. Let me rephrase, no rational person is talking about building a wall. But of course we are going to do trade, but trade policies have to be policies that work for the people of our country. And I will work very hard to expand agricultural exports, expand manufacturing exports, but they have to be based around a principle not of unfettered free trade where the American workers are working against people around the world who are makings pennies per hour, but fair trade, and that is the trade policy that I will work for.”

Hillary Clinton joined up with Sanders at the town hall and accused Trump of “political arson.”

She blasted the “ugly, divisive rhetoric we are hearing from Donald Trump and the encouragement of violence and aggression is wrong, and it’s dangerous.”

“If you play with matches, you’re going to start a fire you can’t control,” Clinton said about Trump at a caucus kick-off event at a local YMCA. “That’s not leadership. That’s political arson. The test of leadership and citizenship is the opposite. If you see bigotry, oppose it. If you see violence, condemn it. And if you see a bully, stand up to him.”

It sounds like they got some of their talking points from Republicans who are more interested in defeating Trump than defeating these socialists.

This attack from Hillary is particularly frustrating. This is a woman who bullied and harassed Bill’s female victims.  This is a woman who promised to be an Obama clone even after he divided the nation in every imaginable way with his facile use of identity politics.

Trump is a damaged candidate and he’s vulnerable. We will see how he handles this because Sanders and Clinton are obviously convinced he will be the candidate and they are out to destroy him.

Barack Obama is completely responsible for the divisiveness in our country but snidely disputed that fact this past week. His comments are repugnant after what he has done to divide and conquer this country for socialism.
