Santa Monica gunman John Zawahri

It was suspicious from the start when the police didn’t release the Santa Monica gunman’s identity. It was also suspicious when they said the mother was coming home from abroad without naming the country.

We now know that the Santa Monica gunman, whose name was held back by the police, was mid-Eastern. His name is John Zawahri.

The media only referred to him as white and said that they held back his name because his mother, who was traveling abroad, had to be notified.

As it turns out, Zawahri’s mother, Randa Abdou, was visiting her family in Lebanon.

The murders occurred on Friday and police didn’t release his name until Sunday but the information was leaked out.

Zawahri was not on a jihad. He was mentally ill and judging by the first names of the boys, they were probably Christian.

John Zawahri murdered his father Samir Zawahri, 55, and his brother Chris in their home..

After he killed his father and brother, he hijacked a car. Before getting into the hijacked car, he shot and wounded the driver of another car who didn’t move away fast enough. He demanded that the driver of the hijacked car take him to the college.

As they drove, he fired several shots around the neighborhood. He shot at a bus and one woman sitting in the back was grazed in the head. When they approached the school parking lot, he shot two people sitting in a car, killing one and seriously injuring another.

Police intercepted him and shots were exchanged. Zawahri ran towards the school library. He shot and killed a woman coming out of the library. The gunman ran into the library where he accosted several students. The police intercepted him, shot him and took him out to the street where he died.

A fifth shooting victim was taken off life support on Sunday.

The family was dysfunctional and both the gunman and his father are described as violent.
