In 2012, the Saudis claim they warned the Department of Homeland Security – Janet Napolitano’s dysfunctional organization – about Tamerlan’s and three others’ plan to attack a major US city. These warnings were sent to the “highest levels”

Any intel coming to the US should skip DHS – DHS welcomes terrorists, especially if they say they are Hispanic workers who have come here illegally but have attended school in the US.

The Tsarnaevs were not here illegally but were actually given legal status because of supposed persecution by Russia, yet they frequently went on vacation there. Even when Tamerlan was posting violent and bloody al Qaeda videos on YouTube, he was not watched.

Saudi Arabia denied Tamerlan entry to their country in 2011. We took a different tack, we gave him welfare.

The Saudis claim they warned the British government as well, no word from the Brits yet.

The warning letter, according to the Saudi official, was very specific. It named Tamerlan Tsarnaev, and stated he planned “to bomb a major US city.”

We know the CIA and FBI ignored warnings about Tamerlan and his mother Jubeidat, and we are told by the media to not act as armchair quarterbacks, but the system did fail. Not to blame the agents, but to blame those in charge, at the highest levels, who have made it taboo to investigate radical Islamists. As we now know, the term “radical Islamists” has been stricken from all government manuals.

DHS and the WH through officials made it clear they know nothing.

The Daily Mail has released the following exclusive from a Saudi official:

  • Saudis developed intelligence separately from Russia, which also warned the U.S. about the accused Boston bomber
  • A letter to the Department of Homeland Security allegedly named Tsarnaev and three Pakistanis as potential jihadis worthy of U.S. investigation
  • Red flags from Saudi Arabia to have included Tsarnaev’s name and information about a planned explosive attack on a major U.S. city
  • Saudi foreign minister, national security chief both met with Obama in the oval office in early 2013…keep reading

Rep. Jason Chaffetz has been critical of the administration’s early proclamation that the system worked and was implemented efficiently.

We must investigate and clean up our procedures and approaches. Someone needs to look at how we investigate those we grant asylum to.

Obviously it didn’t work or four people would be alive and another 200 would not have been injured on Patriot’s Day. The government is blind to Islamic terrorism but see Tea Party and Catholic terrorists everywhere..
