Since March 23, Sebelius has been asking for financial assistance from companies in the healthcare field and other industries as well as from healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, churches and other charitable organizations to launch Obamacare.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation is expected to give as much as $10 million dollars and H&R Block plans on giving $500,000 after receiving the Sebelius’ phone call. The funds would go to Enroll America. [medical.net/news]

Her fundraising efforts were made after Congress twice refused her requests for billions more to fund the health care mandate.

Senator Lamar Alexander believes this is illegal and plans to ask the GAO to investigate. He said it is illegal for outside groups connected with the government to raise money when the lawmakers have refused to appropriate the funds.

Sebelius appears to be circumventing Congress who are trying to reign in the spending.

There is an Anti-Deficiency Act which prohibits federal employees from bypassing the congressional appropriations process. There is another law Sebelius claims to be following which she believes allows her to do this type of fundraising.  [Newsmax]

Squeezing money from health insurers to promote Obamacare is another thuggish tactic to put through the law most don’t want. The people she’s squeezing are people she regulates!

Obamacare is simply unsustainable. We were sold a bill of goods.

Only 16 states agreed to build their own healthcare exchanges, forcing Sebelius’ agency to build the marketplaces in 34. The federal government must find money to promote the law, to ensure enough people use the exchanges starting Oct. 1 to sufficiently spread health risks for insurers selling to them.

Obamacare was supposed to add “not one single dime” to the deficit but it is now adding $6.2 trillion to the deficit over the next 75 years. That figure won’t approve.
