Kathleen Sebelius has mandated health insurers in the Obamacare exchanges pay for Planned Parenthood’s services. Planned Parenthood, a third-party organization, makes their money from abortion. They are a private far-left organization that makes referrals for women’s health services but primarily makes their money from abortions. They campaign vigorously for the Democratic Party while taking taxpayer dollars.
Remember the Executive Order that promised the government wouldn’t fund abortion as part of the health care law? It was a meaningless lie as we knew it would be. Bart Stupak at the time pretended he believed it and voted for the Obamacare bill.
We are all paying for abortions and a radical-left private organization because we pay the subsidies for people in the exchanges.
In an April letter to insurers, Sebelius issued a regulation ordering companies to cover Planned Parenthood clinics in their state exchange packages. Planned Parenthood, which she deems as an “essential community provider,” is part of the long list of local organizations that insurers are required to partner with. (Others, Bedard says, include lesbian and gay centers, family planning clinics, and “holistic” centers.)
Holistic centers and family planning (abortion)? Seriously?
Insurance companies have never paid for something like this. States are trying to end funding sources for Planned Parenthood and this administration is enshrining Planned Parenthood, with their abortion services, into law.
Congress has nothing to say about it. Only Sebelius gets to say who is covered, who is not, who lives, and who dies.
