Sheriff Clarke Weighs in as Obama Replenishes the Supply of Terrorists

Putting GITMO terrorists into US prisons where they can mentor new radicals is an obvious mistake but our president will do it this year regardless. It’s the only foolhardy promise he hasn’t fulfilled.

Obama feels the need to continually replenish the supply of terrorists to destroy Western civilization and has been releasing some to paper prisons in the terrorists’ homelands but now plans to put some in US prisons.

Seventeen more are being released in December and January. To give just one example of how bad these people are, one of those being released is “forever” prisoner Haji Hamidullah who is a “high value” and “high risk” target who was listed as “one of the most significant former Afghan HIG members detained” at Guantanamo because of his extensive involvement in anti-Coalition activities.

This is one of the many actions he planned.

“In early October 2002, detainee attempted to smuggle US-made man-portable air defense systems (MANPADS) into the region surrounding Kabul International Airport. Detainee attempted to recruit a HIG member to transport the missiles to the airport for an attack against Hamid Karzai’s presidential aircraft.24(S//NF) In late October 2002, detainee planned attacks against US helicopters using multiple Chinese MANPADS acquired by Hekmatyar. Detainee searched for new recruits to train on the new Chinese version, which was reportedly more accurate than HN-5 MANPADS purchased by Usama Bin Laden (UBL).25 (Analyst Note: It is unknown if the attack against the US helicopters and the attack against Karzai’s aircraft were planned to occur at the same time, although it is possible the target was switched to the US helicopters based on unknown obstacles preventing completion of the original plan.)”

White House Chief of Staff Bill McDonough made it clear in an interview with Jake Tapper Sunday that the administration would close GITMO with or without Congress. The administration truly believes GITMO is a liability though the evidence is based on propaganda by jihadists themselves.

They are going to release some of these very bad actors and others will go to US prisons where they will radicalize other prisoners.

US prisons are a rising threat in the terrorists’ efforts to mobilize an army of homegrown terrorists.

Sheriff Clarke weighed in on Fox Business – we need GITMO for a whole host of reasons.

“And this president, Barack Obama, is either unwilling or incapable of doing his most solemn responsibility and that is to protect the American people.”

He proposes that the FBI shouldn’t be in the lead on these cases. Obama treats terrorists like common criminals but Sheriff Clarke says the “FBI is the wrong organization to lead on domestic intelligence. They have missed many of these markers beforehand. That’s where we need to be more successful, is not after the event and all this stuff comes out and the FBI’s doing great work after the incident. We need it before.”

“So one of the things that I propose, is that the ‘president’ take bold and aggressive action under article one, section nine, clause two, and any United States citizen that declares allegiance to a foreign threat that has declared war on the United States forfeits their citizenship. They should be charged with treason, they should be moved to Gitmo. Because I don’t want these individuals in American jails and prisons continuing that radicalization. And they should be charged under a military tribunal – they should not have access to American courts.”

Clarke acknowledges that there will be legal ramifications. “Now I realize that there’s going to be some legal issues, let the lawyers haggle that out. The ‘president’ of the United States is not doing enough to protect the American people. Like I said, anytime someone declares allegiance to a foreign government, all bets are off.

A soldier who was a former ranking medical officer in GITMO, Montgomery Granger explains further. The families will follow if they come to the US. GITMO is isolated and they can’t do that right now.
