Six Dangerous Yemeni Terrorists Released from GITMO

Six more Yemeni terrorists have been released from GITMO and sent to Oman, a country that will likely be unable to monitor them, even if they were willing to do so. Barack Obama is doing it to empty out GITMO. He is meeting with Republicans to discuss closing the facility. If they don’t agree, he will release the remaining 116 no doubt. No one should want these people in stateside prisons, however, where they can radicalize the prisoners.

These men were captured by our military who were killed or injured themselves while capturing them.

They are already in Oman and the Congress has not yet received notice of their pending release as required by law.

Barack Obama is determined to close GITMO and will release every dangerous prisoner in order to do it. He is putting our service people and our allies in danger but he doesn’t care.

Kelly Ayotte

There is a war going on in Yemen and Barack Obama has decided this is the perfect time to release these dangerous men. Kelly Ayotte weighed in today.

“It’s extremely troubling that the Obama administration has sent six dangerous terrorists to Oman, which borders Yemen — a country engulfed in civil war and that serves as the headquarters for al Qaeda’s most dangerous affiliate,” said New Hampshire GOP Sen. Kelly Ayotte (pictured above), a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“Even more disturbing is the fact that the administration has not provided sufficient assurances to Congress or to the public that these terrorists will not return to the battlefield. If they are not securely detained, no one should be surprised if they travel to Yemen and re-engage in terrorist activities,” she said.

2016 GOP presidential candidate and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio said:

“President Obama is once again putting his legacy above the safety and security of Americans. We need an effective detention program, not continued transfers of prisoners to countries without clear requirements for their monitoring to ensure they don’t return to the battlefield.”

All of these men were considered too dangerous to release until Barack Obama decided to free them.

The terrorists are:

Emad Abdullah Hassan, pictured above, who was reported to be an Osama bin Laden bodyguard. He will likely return to terrorist activities according to the DOD.

Idris Ahmad ‘Abd Al Qadir Idris is alleged to be a bin Laden bodyguard. He is a high risk to the U.S., its interests and its allies. He was a medium threat in detention.

Jalal Salam Awad, photo above, is an alleged bodyguard to bin Laden. He is a high risk, a high threat while in detention and he is a high value target.

Sharaf Ahmad Muhammad Mas’ud, photo above, fought American soldiers at Tora Bora before his capture in Pakistan. He was recommended for continued detention because it is believed he will seek out his former associates and re-engage in terrorist activities.

Saa’d Nasser Moqbil Al Azani, pictured above, was a religious teacher who had ties to bin Laden’s religious adviser. He is considered of high risk to the U.S., its interests, and its allies.

ali Salem

Muhammad Ali Salem Al Zarnuki, pictured above, allegedly arrived in Afghanistan as early as 1998 to fight and support the Taliban. He is considered at high risk of posing a threat to U.S., its interests, and allies.

Two of these men were on hunger strikes and none are believed to be rehabilitated.

The U.S. DOD wrote in a statement – insanely – that we are “grateful” to Oman for this “humanitarian” gesture of taking them in.

“The United States is grateful to the Government of Oman for its humanitarian gesture and willingness to support ongoing U.S. efforts to close the Guantanamo Bay detention facility.”

Their GITMO dockets can be found here. Look up their names and find out what prizes they are. The New York Times called them lower-level even though their own NY Times GITMO docket says otherwise. Maybe the terrorists should be given jobs at the Times. They could be Sharia consultants.
